Again we took the OrangePi Neo Prototype to a gaming session. This time we had chosen Star Wars Battlefront 2 Celebration Edition, which is not rated for the Steamdeck. We got mixed results with the out of the box chosen default settings. In some sections of the gameplay we lowered the settings to get a better experience. Overall it worked.

Great job guys, please take your time with this, remember that hand feel and button placement are key elements. I'd personally swap the location of the right stick and buttons. How do the triggers feel? are they comfortable after awhile of play? I love linux and I am so glad you are doing this. Will it come preloaded with apps like proton-up, heroic launcher , etc?

@@ized88 @ized88 I have 3 kids and they're stealing my steamdeck. Although who knows when this is out maybe steamdeck will be cheaper and I'll get a 2nd of that. Maybe upgrade me to oled
You should have switched the locations of the face buttons and the right stick. Reaching over the buttons to reach the stick would have been simple, reaching over the stick will be a hassle. Plus your thumb in on the stick more often so, it would be less hard on your hands. I mean it doesn't even LOOK comfortable from your own video thumbnail.
I'm a UK Manjaro user, Love the idea of pairing this hardware with a Manjaro Installation. Wish I could get my hands on one. Im trying to start a KZread Channel and need stuff to review/test. please get in touch....:-)
