Thank you for talking about this. I feel the same way, I'm mixed Metis cree and white and raised Catholic and I never fit in. Ive been teaching myself beading and skirt making and it helps me. This video is simple and clear. I used your first video to make my first skirt and it came out great! I learned from another video from an elder to roll the hem up and iron a line into the skirt to line your ribbons against so you don't have to pin!

U are soo awesome! I feel the same way when you say u didn’t feel indigenous..I grew up go in to powwows, I danced when I was younger, but our language is lost and our traditions are fading. I want to learn how to make ribbon skirts and regalia. I learnt how to bead from an elder in my community. I want to take back my culture and my peoples traditions❤️
