I have baked this sponge in an 8-inch round cake pan.

FOR SPONGE:
5 eggs
1/2 cup or 125 grams of sugar
1 cup or 125 grams of plain flour
1 &1/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 orange zest
FOR FROSTING:
2 & 1/2 cups or 600 grams heavy /double cream
1/2 cup or 50 grams of icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 orange zest
FOR GLAZING:
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup or 35 grams of icing/powdered sugar
3 tbsp cornflour
pinch of orange color
