Hi Anant, do we need to look at OI data while selling option? I mean is it safe to sell options just abv max OI strike price while selling CE and just below max OI while selling PE? I think will definitely reduce delta. Thanks

That's correct. 100% time i have gone for atm or itm i have lost. Once 75 k and second time 50 k when the temptation got over me. Instead of making 4-5 k, which i was doing and i lost all gains and part of capital in two trades.

Everyone explains option trading.. After expiry how we can get the share at the predefined price... But in reality everyone exit trading before expiry and try to gain through movement of lot price.. Pls explain why we don't follow the actual idea of option trading??? Is it compulsory to buy/sell shares after expiry? Or only cash flow is maintained?

Sir mene June me sbi ka July month ka pe sell kiyatha 200 strike price ka inthe money..mujhe premium milatha 22.60 paisa means mujhe 67800.avi v sbi 200 k nichhe hai but mene Thursday ko exit kardiya..usitime sbi ka price 198 upartha..mujhe 50000 k aaspaas profit hua..18thousand mujhe dena pada,mene pehle 67800 receive kiyatha.agar 200 k upar close hojata expires ko ta mujhe jo premium milatha saare premium mera hojata.but risk jadda nehiliya and 50000 k aaspaas profit me santust hogaya.time value k hisabse v ta premium ghat jatahai sir?

A Nifty strangle costs about 80k per lot, today... If you go to the 4-legged strategies, less than half that... Better to set aside about 50pc more for adjustments, IMO...

10% of Market capitalisation. Market capitalisation is the current value of the company.

Actually, for starters, neither... Next month is recommended... It'll be slow and give a chance to understand and learn... After a few such expiries, can graduate to monthly and then... 👍

Sir I have a basic questions, if I sell 1 lot of nifty Aug month expiry 11600 CE and 10600 PE then I would get approximately premium of 17500. If I square off both of them in next 1 hour do I get 17 K profit ?
