📋 Optimist Park is roughly 11.72 acres and features a wide variety of amenities, including baseball fields, batting cages, an outdoor basketball court, playground, and more! It also has ample greenspace to host popular community events like our annual Summer Carnival.
⌛ Originally informally known as Cook Street Park, the space became City-owned park property in 1988 and was given the name Optimist Park in 1990.
