    How would you remove the stones from the bezel. I’m working on stone removal and it’s very hard. What tools would I need.

    what tool did you use for carving the bring cut? Also how did you cut the prongs? I feel like you just cut them right in the middle?

    What about resetting in stainless steel? I want to take a bunch of diamonds out of my band and replace them with emeralds in a specific pattern...whats the best way to do this?

    This is a serious and relevant question that is waiting for an answer. We can all measure the diameter and from there get the circumference (=pi x D) and then divide that with number of stones to get the space required. Problem is that the divider does not measure along the curved circle but along the chord. He should therefore overshoot. But the stone setter here seems to hit spot on.

    @@eivindkofod1774 They take the diameter of the stone, for example, 2mm, then they mark pilot holes every 2mm, they also make squares to make sure the bur cuts are evenly spaced.

    How do you measure around the bezel to find the spacing youre using for your micrometer on the layout?

    @Ian Sacks I'd assume he uses the micrometer the same way he does in the video, to get a total mm number, then divides that number by the width of each stone he's using. But I also could be completely wrong

    To my knowledge it’s around $1-$2 per stone depending on size and amount.
