Chathuranga De Silva he uses a Zeiss Stemi 2000-CS trinocular microscope

at the 7:59 mark you begin to shape the center stone bottom prong with a mystery tool...I've seen this tool in other videos and the gold seems to just melt into position. Are you using straight pressure or is the tool heated? BTW your work is amazing!

The lower tier of the gallery seen at 3:54 looks very saw-blade marked...it doesnt seem to have been filed or refined... Is this common to leave finishing such areas before finalising the setting of the stones?

I don't think he's shown himself cleaning it up but sometimes it's left and taken off in a barrelling process or by a mounter

It will be sorted just before plating. Usually! Those file mark are magnified quite a bit though.

honestamente el trabajo de preengaste es exelente ..pero el montaje de las piedras deja que desear...el prisma no queda orientado en la misma direccion colocando las piedras todas al mismo tiempo...
