I don't think cocaine can lower blood sugar, heal kidneys (i was at stage 2 kidneysfailure and since starting ozempic in 6 months kidney was normal again ), lower risk of heart issues. If fact i want my father to take it to save his life.

10 years from now when the side effects start kicking in, there’ll be loads of people pointing fingers…

You're joking, right? Weight loss medication is covered by insurance. My health insurance company's copay for Wegovy is $100 for a 3 month supply. When you account for the decrease in appetite, you end up saving money. You should probably do some research instead of talking out your ass.

It's really a shame how everyone promoted "body positivity" but started doing this behind the scenes. I swear u can't trust anyone these days. The only person u need to believe is urself. Working out can be fun! iIt's only hard if ur doing it specifically to affect your appearance. Once u start doing it to actually be healthy or just to give urself a different lifestyle, then u got it✨️but doing it for validation from peers or social media is not gonna work in the long run

Scared to go the gym

Yep! Same here! I started taking it after I gained weight from the pandemic, and also from having three surgeries within a year and a half. I gain a little bit over 20 pounds, which was the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life, and it really affected my mental health. Even though I was solely started going back to my fitness and nutrition plan, I was still struggling with my mental health because of the waking. This medication really has helped to not get back on track, but has also really helped my post weight gain depression. I also use this as a tool! I’m so blessed and grateful for this medication and as a future nurse practitioner, I look forward to helping patients with this life-changing medication!

I take anti seizure medication and the only time I've ever been able to lose weight is when I go days without eating. I could be eating strictly vegetables and not lose weight because my medication makes it impossible to lose weight. You must come from the privilege of not having any major health concerns or hormonal imbalances to believe that all it takes is a good diet especially when food in the US is straight garbage.

No one should have to be ashamed of taking something to lose weight. I just feel like it's time for them to make it available. And cheaper for everyone. Or stop putting all this junk into our food that's making us gain so much weight. I don't care how much cardio. You do it's not going to help even if you change your diet. Oprah taking the diabetic drug for weight loss is shameful. As a diabetic the manjaro diabetic drug is in short supply. My life depends on it to live. People like Oprah makes it hard for diabetics to live a normal life having diabetes shame shame on anybody using it for weight loss.
