Cillian Murphy is a rare gem. You can tell he was born to be an actor, loves it, and isn't into the "star" aspect of it at all. In all the interviews I've seen him in he comes across as an extremely gifted actor without being narcissistic, entitled or mean. Just a kind, genuine person who loves what he does and feels fortunate to do it.

So nice that he calls everyone Mr and Ms. instead of their first names, it is makes the interview that much more professional.

Cillian Murphy deserves more leading roles

how Jake's Takes doesn't have a million subscribers is beyond me...at the very least at least 500k. The man is a professional interviewer, and great at the job!

Hmm. One reason is that, many of his questions are overrated imho.

Cillian Murphy is so brilliant. It's great to finally see him leading a Christopher Nolan film.

The past few interviews have had outstanding interviewers. It's not easy to get Cill to say, "that's a very good question", but that's because they were good questions! Equally great for us long time ride or die fans craving fresh questions and answers. Thank you!

Cillian is just an amazing actor. I feel he commits totally, and when he is on screen I am completely absorbed by him.

What does him not using social media have to do with his acting abilities? 🤦 And what the heck is so "amazing" about it? A lot of actors and non-actors don't use social media. You must be 10 or just really dumb. 😂

Jake continues to be a brilliant interviewer

I really like this guy. He dresses well, asks insightful questions befitting of a serious(ly impactful) film such as Oppenheimer, and more trivially, I like how he addresses them “mister Damon” or “Mrs Blunt”. It always irks me when people have this illusion they maybe know these actors and should address them by their first name.

We need Cillian on Hot Ones!

Emily is very nice in saying to Jake: "Your hair is the best I've ever seen." She is a beautifully charming lady and actress and I look forward to seeing her in Oppenheimer.

You know Jake is a brilliant interviewer when you have Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Matt Damon yet most of the comments or about Jake.

Love Cillian Murphy in everything he is in. Glad he finally gets to lead a Nolan film

I love how Cillian presents himself both on and off screen...never got bored watching him!!

Damn I think Murphy is my favorite actor right now. Such a incredibly talented actor who cares very much about the art, but most importantly the joy and the magic that movies bring to the audience. He talks like you're discussing some films as a friend over a beer. Class guy.

Does everyone else love Cillian Murphy? He's always been a great actor but he seems like a nice fella too.

I know this isn't the main focus of this interview, but I really love how Emily and Matt talked about their spouses. They seem to have a wonderful relationship and it makes me happy to see that! 😊

Cilian's one of the coolest actors ever. Him and Tom Hardy are my favorite duo to see in a flick.

The Interview sessions of Oppenheimer is so good, doesn't matter who the host is. Every single interviewer just paid fully attention to the speaker and doesn't try to "feed words into the mouth of the actors", they just want to know the honest opinions of all the actors and Mr. Nolan. The Professionalism is top notch 🙌🙌

The fastest 12 minutes ever, Jake is such an incredible interviewer

This Jake guy is so calculated and pristinely vocal, his rehearsing process always produces a beautiful performance. He is an incredible artist in his own field of getting people to really think deeply. He always seeks to expand peoples experiences. Doesn’t want to give just another boring attempt at questions people have heard 20 times. His intentionality is superb. I wish him nothing but success! 🎊 🎉🍾

You know, it’s funny… all these movies and my own movie going experiences will always be tied to Jake’s career and interviews because I get just as excited for the interviews as i do for the movie.

Bringing back classic great style interviews. 🙏🏾very nice questions asked it kept the interviews fun and interesting.

This is the first of Jake’s videos I’ve seen - and my God, he’s good! Very respectful in calling people ‘Mr’ and ‘Ms’, obviously well researched, quirky delivery which enamours him to his interviewee, and (here’s the stunner) asking such intelligently worded questions (Michael Parkinson et al take note). He should be on mainstream TV never mind You Tube! Come on, executives - give this upcoming star the break he deserves.

Re Matt's comment @11:20, a mentor and friend of mine once dropped this gem, which stuck with me for over 25 years: "I true professional never has a bad day." Think about it.

Really appreciate the candour on that last answer from 'Mr Damon', as I've often wondered that about actors - that they must at least occasionally have a sense that what they're working on isn't gonna turn out so good. Now I know!

Really happy for Mr. Murphy. This script and role seem to be a perfect match for him at this time in his career.

Okay, Jake, you do your research and ask questions that are interesting to the viewer and likely to the interviewee. It's really rare to see interviews that are this well prepared, in any field.

Cillian who always looks so disappointed in every interview said "thats a very good question" in here, wow, the interviewer must be thrilled to hear that

Jake is the absolute best when it comes to interviewing! I basically watch him whenever I prepare to interview people myself!

I liked and I'm leaving a comment to make youtube algorithm pick this up, because Jake deserves more views, he deserves all the views. Honestly, the interviews are always so well researched with interesting questions and good conversations, just great on all accounts.
