I agree! I kind of forgot about OPI (the traditional line), it's also excellent! OPI red looks more red in different lights. It's nice and creamy to apply!

My all time favourite OPI' s red is "I've got the blues for red" so so deep and bright at the same time.... So odd you didn' t mention it 🙃

I love Cajun shrimp as a summer color! I just bought a kit that came with the polish, infinite, gel and dip! For $12 us! Can’t beat that!

Hi! I do so wish I could apply polish like you do, Anna. I love red polishes. So beautiful! Reds are sometimes hard to clean up off skin. If I could just not touch my skin with the polish… I actually have a lot of those reds. Opi are some of the few mainstream polishes I own. I wear them on my toes.

Great comparisons! The only one I have is the Coca Cola red. I never thought I liked orangey reds but that one is so smooth and pretty on the nail. I love the Raisin Nature Strong color and all the darker reds you showed here. I also think it is interesting how pink both the OPI Red and Revlon Red are. Definitely neither is a true red.

I think the reds best for me would be OPI Red and Relentless Ruby. I love some of the others, but could never wear them.

I love so many of these and I’m not usually a fan of red. I’m Not Really a Waitress is my fav though. I remember getting that color often back in high school, when I first started getting my nails done. It brings back memories!!

I love all the darker reds on the left hand. Bogotá Blackberry would be a great addition to this list. Out of the ten, surprisingly, I only own Cajun Shrimp - love the color, hate the application because I can't seem to avoid streaks. And I would love to see a video of those limited edition Dior polishes!

The best OPI “red” on me is Dutch Tulips-it has a slight pink tone in it instead of orange or blue.

Of course Big Apple Red is the best red, it’s associated with my hometown, the Big Apple NYC ♥️🤣 But I will say, while I think China Glaze doesn’t have the greatest staying power, so you really have to be strategic with the top coat you use, their Red Pearl is my absolute favorite Christmas Color.

OPI RUDOLPH RED was far and away the best Christmas red ever put on the market. The micro red sparkles in a gorgeous red color have not been duplicated since. All too often we find too much silver or the color is too burgundy such as with runner-up Ruby Pumps. To this day 30 years in the business people still talk about Rudolph Red being the best. Discontinued bottles can be found on the internet for $25.00 to $60.00 but I have to wonder about quality since this came out in the mid-2000s. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar replacement?

My Coca Cola red is not that orange. It looks deeper on me, but I love it as my summer red. I definitely need to get big apple red!

I am having a big problem with infinite shine! They thicken up, and some colors are a pain to work with! They seem to dry while I’m painting! Super frustrating!

Color So Hot It Berns. The most amazing OPI red, IMO.

These red colours are beautiful and your nailwork is perfect! When his nails are dry your friend/husband is going to get the groceries? 🤣

I have on Got the Mean Reds now for the first time. Can't say I like the formula or how smudgy it is when removing. It is a special colour though.

😀 😍 🤩 I believed before that blue and grey would be the perfect colours for Gents Manicure! Well. You Guys surprised me how good #redNails can fit!!! Wow! I mean, could you guess this?! And still you do not reveal the Secret to us: how did you get your Man to do this? 😀 I'm waiting! 😃 You could give a Gents Manicure Manual here! Point 1: How to get them so far?! (There is sth you Mix in their Food or Drink? Just Kidding.) 🙂 Oh, I have to go for that Ruby OPI! This will be my next Purchase. Infinite Shine and Essie Gel Couture are both long lasting polishes. They last about the same. From what I hear Essie GC might last better. Both were linked to some nail surface damage after long term use though.

I like all of them pretty much. But if I have to choose, it would be “We The Female”, “Coca Cola Red” and raisin the bar”. I have most of them, but I never wear red polish and I don’t know why ? :)

What brushes do use for your OPIs? Will they fit into the original OPI caps? I have some brushes from KBShimmer and Glisten&Glow (I think both brands use the same brushes), but haven't tried them in my OPI polishes because I'm not sure if the brushes will fit with the OPI caps, and I prefer all of my OPIs to have their original caps. Lol. 🙈 Also, now that I've seen them side by side, I definitely prefer the Infinite Shine formula of I'm Not Really a Waitress, compared to the original. The shimmer particles were slightly bigger in the IS version, making it sparkle. Great video!

Why did you develop onycholysis? Normally I would say keep the nails short (to avoid more trauma to the nail plate and nail bed). Keeping the nails short and dry helps the nail plate re-attach to the nail bed. I would personally never extend them.
