You can just feel the sadness, pain, and anguish resonate from this song.

In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful songs ever. I absolutely love the emotional side of Opeth. As if it hadn't already an absolutely amazing song by that point, the incredible guitar solo brings the icing to the cake. Pure masterpiece of musical perfection. I don't miss Åkerfeldt's growls, since he has such a beautiful and powerful clean singing voice.

I'm American. My favorite band for most of my life was the great RUSH. I admit that Opeth has surpassed Rush for me. The music that determined this for me begins with Heritage. I still love all albums prior to Heritage but when the progression began with Heritage I still had to hear Pale Communion before I was mezmerized. Then Sorceres kicked my ass. And it continues with their best yet.....

This song would make an amazing 007 movie intro

At first I was as painful as you hating new Opeth then my taste in music actually evolved. Hopefully yours does aswell it'll be a real shame if you keep making a fool of yourself online this way.
