Operating gold dredge in the Klondike

This film was shot in the Klondike gold fields near Dawson City, Yukon, by Les Millen, probably in about 1960.

This is amazing seeing these run.The amount of wagons to haul all the Iron pieces is unthinkable and all the reloading after the parts were made ⛏️🤔thank you 🏆

This video is legendary. I remember back in the day seeing a dredge. Too bad no audio :(

Too bad there is no audio. The noise dredges made are part of the history!

I can't help but wonder - is this one of the Dredgers that "Gold Rush" tv show person Tony Beets bought and ran.

No, it's not - Beets got his from Clear Creek and the Indian River.

Hey Murray, great video. I see you've described it as a film shot by Les Millen, could I ask where the source is from? Would love to see what else there is and get licensing permission! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
