I'm a drummer, so I know that Pau's rack toms are shifted to her left, so that her ride cymbal is more inward to the left also, making it more naturally, ergonomically reachable. It's become very, very common among drummers to do the same.
Pau uses the far right floor tom drum the way most drummers use the far left hihat cymbal, to keep time. It’s unusual in rock, and is a signature Pau style. Very observant
Ale has said she doesn't really like singing. People that keep obsessing about her singing lead should just get over it, because she clearly doesn't want to.
I love this version because Dany's voice is more front and center, and damn that woman can sing
Ale rarely sings lead. There are videos of her spelling Dani in performance, but the only solo Ale normally does is during the song "Choke", The live performance from Teatro Metroplitan CDMX has great audio and video.
My favorite Warning songs are "23", the Teatro version of Entering Sandman, or just about anything from that concert. There is some earlier videos of Ale being the lead singer that you can look up.
I think Pau plays like that because she is tiny, she is barely 5 foot tall, so she is naturally very close to the kit. Her dad cut some parts out of the rack around the kit so that she can have everything where she likes it.
First off, Pau is tiny. Five foot nothing, and she has a massive drum kit. She also runs the set through her laptop on her left, so it's understandable that she's positioned to the left.
Oh, I'm SO anxious for "SHOW THEM" to come out, tooooo! When I got to see these ladies on a cruise, I was lucky enough to get a spot above the stage and behind them, where I could really watch Pau WORK! So great! Rock on, Anastasia! 🤘😎👍
Ale sings lead in HUNTER (Black Box Tijuana 2019). RIVER’S SOUL (the Cave 2018). RED HANDS NEVER FADE (Toronto 2023/ Mercury NYC 2019) (my favorite!- the Cave). In Choke performed at Teatro Metropolitan Ale has a moment with the vocals! Check out Automatic Sun again at the Tecate Pa’l Norte. You will see Pau at some of her finest moments, and a moment of Ale’s badassery!
RE: Pau's kit setup ...
Pau loves her floor toms. She plays them a lot in many songs. My three favorites on the new album are Escapism, Consume, and Automatic Sun.
they are sooo good live trust me i saw them live in Portugal,it was a blast🤩
Hi, thanks for reacting to The Warning! Great reaction. My favorite 3 are Apologize, Sharks and Evolve, just barely ahead of Escapism and Consume Haha, basically all of the keep me Fed album. Thanks again!
That intro scream from you is FREAKING AMAZING, Anastasia!!!!
My new favorite song by The Warning is "Sharks" which came out with the new album on June 28th. Another great song that came out then is "Apologize". There are lyric videos for both, no music videos or live performances yet. There is a music video for the new song "Six Feet Deep" which s an amazing video and a great song of course.
Crazy vocals of yours there Anastasia, that was awesome.
👍👍👍Awesomely awesome performance. The Warning bringing the 🔥🔥🔥. 🖖❤
As you usually do, you get very entertaining and interesting reactions, that's great and we thank you for it.
