Opening up the Thoracic Spine

Спорт

A few ways to stretch the shoulders and open up the thoracic spine with the help of a few implements.
I use these drills as a warmup for backbending, but they feel great even if you perform them stand-alone.
This is taken from my full backbend tutorial, which currently is available only to members of my online training group.

I was out of work for a whole year. Ended up needing an epidural because p.t couldn't find an exercise for my thoracic area. Said there wasn't a specific exercise to help that area. Looking forward to this video!

Thanks for the video Yuri! I like to use the back of a lower chair, arms extended overhead. You do have to be very mindful so the chair doesn't tip, but that's a way I utilize a chair in these excercises. U can also lay sideways across the seat and use it like a weight bench, not as comfortable but will get the job done.

More effort into developing craft means less effort into editing content to make it sufficiently distracting is my guess.

yeah it's sad how that works. I try to stay away from the clickbait stuff and do my best to offer my perspective on specific topics rather than just regurgitate all the stuff that's already been said

@@yurimar I appreciate it. I get people gotta eat, and when you're trying to make things happen while being told that's how you have to do it... it's hard to risk doing it differently. Much appreciated.

Just what I needed. How often would you advice doing this and for how many rounds?

just explore until you feel like you get something out of it I might do 3-5 rounds of the weighted exercise I show at the end but it might be different for you

I have a question that nobody knows how to answer me: Can I increase my reps in some exercise like pullups or pushups also if I'm in caloric deficit or should I be in caloric surplus because on the one hand I want to be shredded for summer but on the other hand I need to build muscle to increase repetition...

Don't worry about being shredded. Be a more physically capable individual. Unless you want to be more shredded but less capable?

this is a really general question and ultimately it depends on the individual. It is possible to get stronger and cut at the same time, but usually you have to be really dialed in to do this. If you're still a beginner, I would say to get stronger and eat more so when you do cut, it will have more impact

I think experienced folks may not remember how time consuming this question is when they're no longer in the thick of it.

yeah the matrix was definitely glitching that day. we got one black cat and one striped cat. The black one likes to prowl about but she definitely found some loopholes in the code during this video haha
