Yes, the pink long sleeve is ‘ribbed’ 👍🏻 Leotard is also correct for gymnastics I believe! The word you were looking for the “head scarf” is ‘bandana’ and the tank top that ties around the neck is a ‘halter top’. Hope that helps!

Wow! Fantastic finds!! Both girls are so pretty, and amazing you got the cool cargos outfit back - I remember really liking that outfit when I saw it in the catalogue! Looking forward to seeing your Maplelea and Me girl all dressed up!! Alexi looks sooooo lovely!! So happy she's part of your Maplelea collection now!! I unfortunately donated 2 of my Maplelea girls (Taryn and Alexi - both were used when I got them) before relocating to my current city, but I still have Jenna, whom I absolutely love - I waited 10 years to get her, but finally did in 2018!! She is currently in the most recent OG Skateboarding outfit 😁 I also adore Charlesea (I bought her for my niece this past Christmas, but I'd like to get her, eventually). Saila is just amazing! I remember being so happy and enchanted by her when she came out!! I think the name "Maplelea" might also echo "Avonlea" - I think the dolls are produced under the company name "Avonlea Traditions" Great video!!

That does make sense with the Avonlea Tradition pronunciation, I do have some of their products when they were making Anne of Green Gables things and I love them dearly. Too bad they have moved away from Anne things just to focus on Maplelea. However, I guess it shows how successful Maplelea had become!

@@justdreamstudios Yes! I have one of their mini Anne cloth dolls, which is actually the perfect scale to be a doll for 18" dolls!!

Alexi always has the best clothes! Congratulations on your new finds. My favorite Maplelea character is Léonie, followed by Saila. I love their face sculpts the best although Jenna being from Nova Scotia makes me love her, too.

Congrats on getting some rare MapleLea dolls. I love the Canadian Girl Hoodie. The light blue shirt and hat are very adorable. I still only have Taryn in my collection but if I see more in the wild I may add them. Especially Saila. 😊

i don't have a Mapelea doll but I love the clothing for my AG girls and have purchased a good deal of the outfits. The current Mapelea boxes are darker. Congrats on your dolls and finding those important outfits.

In the last 18 months since I started buying Maplelea, there are three shades of blue boxes. My favorite is the med shade of blue. And I wish they would've kept the Keepsake boxes for the dolls.

I love all your Maplelea videos! I'm kind of new to Maplelea, but had wanted Saila for a while and finally got her earlier this year (and a ton of outfits)! I can't seem to find any information anywhere on the Maplelea doll face molds. It seems like there are five face molds and I'm wondering if they have official or unofficial fan-created names? I've noticed the "classic" or first mold on 5/7 of the character dolls, the one Leonie has, the one Saila has, the one that the boy dolls have, and the one on the majority of the Maplelea Friends dolls. Is that correct, are there just the five? Also, how often do they come out with new dolls and outfits?

I know there are names people have assigned them but the whole face mold thingy amongst fans of Maplelea is considerably less than American Girl. However, I might make a video on this topic in the future, thanks for the idea!

Okay I just freaked over the white doll hoodie. I love, love, love (you can in the 193 loves yourself) your Maplelea and other dolls (AG) videos. Being from the U.S. I need to find out I can about the beautiful Canadian dolls from YT. I got 2 questions if don’t mind me picking your brain. Maybe somebody can help me. How many starter outfits did these dolls go through? I think (correct if I’m wrong) the original 4 have had two and the new 3 have had only one. The other question I have see this term used on eBay when looking for Maplelea stuff Avonlea. I know that is a fictional place the Anne of Green Gables went. I don’t understand what that term being used by Maplelea means? I know Morton used to make Anne of Green Gables things before Maplelea but I’m confused. My favorite doll? That like asking what is my favorite piece of chocolate? My favorite the one that was love at first sight was Charlsea saw picture with the tie dye shirt and the mismatched leggings I knew I had to have her and if it wasn’t for you I would still be mispronouncing her name. then I got Taryn loved her butterflies and outdoor sprit and then Alexi. Her color looked like me with the moto jacket and she wants to help people with disabilities which I do.

For the start outfits, Leonie, Saila and Charlsea have one. Taryn, Alexi, Brianne had two. Jenna has had three different starter outfits. Kathryn Morton was the founder of Avonlea Traditions which made Anne of Green Gables Merchandise and Maplelea Girls were a part of this company. However, over time Avonlea Tradition faded out and the company just focused on Maplelea Dolls. That's why some of the dolls from the early 2000s mention they are part of that company. Hope these help!
