The concept of this video is amazing for the hobby right now!!! I wish you did this for all the major retail releases for football, basketball and baseball. The transparency for hit percentages should be shown at a scale like this for every product with how over printed everything is. Or panini should give the exact print numbers of each release. Thank for you this and please keep these going!

Coming from the hockey card hobby, the fact that these aren’t posted is wild to me. Many of the upper deck hockey packs/boxes state the estimated probably of pulling particular inserts so that you can get a real idea of what the odds are. The fact they don’t list these on basketball card boxes just makes a box purchase a blind dart throw.

Exactly why I never rip retail anything anymore. Not even close to worry it especially when they doubled the price at Walmart and target

They're $30 at target. That's not double. And it's never been easy to pull a animal print card. It's a case hit.

Love this retail style format packman keep this series up if you can but also make sure not to forget the opening until a case hit series love that

Thanks for the content Packman. Question...the volume of cards you have from all your rips, was wondering what do you do with all those commons and/or insignificant cards? Donate? Give to a third party to sell for you? Have a warehouse to store it all? The number of cards you have must be astronomical!! Thanks for your time and content and look forward to your reply.

Cool concept for video pac, do illusions next chasing a short print king....those cards would be set of the year if there weren't millions of them.

Agreed on the hangers. I know I'll likely never rip a really nice case hit from these but the ceiling is at least there unlike the rest of the retail products. A nice courtside is a decent pull and doable but It's straight pain when you hit a courtside and its a base lol.

I really like the '22 Select Football series, not sure why the die-cuts get so much hate but I think they're really cool. I wasn't able to get very many blasters from that series but i I found it to have a lot of variety, and I got at least one numbered card in every blaster.

Retail has really been tough, bought a few boxes from select to prizm, chronicles , donruss .... no hits ... again great video let's keep them rolling!

Another amazing and informational bro! You really are keeping this hobby alive!

That was tedious but also fun. :) Love the idea of a bunch of Panini execs sitting around a conference table watching this video, just belly laughing like, "Look at him go! He's still opening packs trying to hit an SSP! He refilled the table 4 times!" 😂😂 If nothing else, this video shows just how absolutely brutal (and often NOT cost effective) Panini retail can be. On the other hand, someone could obviously go into the store, buy that one blaster, and hit the AD elephant. Ah, gotta love opening packs. :) PS: Have to agree that it's absolutely unnecessary to put that extra prizm pattern on top of the animal print. Def takes away from it.

Also it is so weird seeing these Blue Shimmers from the hangers and they aren't worth much of anything... yet in UFC Prizm they had the Shimmers but they were FOTL Prizm and they were SSP low numbered! I have a Gold Shimmer /5 Blue Shimmer /7 and have seen some Black Shimmer 1/1's.

Man, they really bent you over and took you to pound town with these packs. Brutal.

Awesome video. I think I've bought my last box from walmart. Gonna stick to buying singles for now and maybe sometime I'll save up for a hobby box.

I enjoy the chase videos and trying the different formats just shows how hard it is to get a short print/rare pull and at least you got a decent player. I enjoy opening retail formats just wish the odds were a tad better especially since my card shop closed recently so now I gotta order hobby boxes online

Holy hell, I didn't expect it to take THIS Much to get ONE animal print cards.

Glad you hit a nice one at the end... I used to get retail cases of prizm/optic blasters before things went crazy. You'd hit about 0-3 , #'d per case. Average would probably be about 1; or like 1-2 autos and a #'d card per 20 EA blasters. I assume the odds are even harder now.

You should do this with the new absolute football looking for a kaboom or explosive

I opened a tons of blasters and hangers of 2020 select. I hit only 1 numbered card #/49 (blue white green), no big player. Hit a few autos too. But chances of big hits are very low on select retail

I think the next retail chase has to be Prizm, chasing that Red or Blue parallel! Would definitely be fun to watch that opening too!

If you’re into football, Absolute blasters are a good chase. They have Kabooms plus you can get low #’d cards and autos.

My favorite card was the elephant Anthony Davis card. This can sure cost a consumer a lot of money chasing those animal cards. Lol

I’ve bought about 6 blasters and 3 hangers and my top card from that was probably a LeBron true silver premier level. Retail is tough. Cool video…I’m glad you are publicly ripping this on camera so people can see how hard it is to hit stuff.

Panini retail is brutal. Although they only make baseball products, Topps has a MUCH HIGHER chance of a good hit and even an insane hit! I pulled a bat down Acuna out of 2018 Topps hanger box for 9.99 at Walmart that’s a few hundred bucks now. And in 2020 I got a frank Thomas commemorative patch auto /10 that I sold for $600. My best Panini retail pull since 2019 was 1000 points 😂

Yep that’s what I love about topps Wander Franco one of one pulled from a Walgreens hanger box! Short prints and variations galore Panini saves their best for hobby by far!

My hats off to you my friend for ripping all that. Reminds me last year of myself. I ripped roughly 800 Select cards from different products, blasters, cellos, megas, and I pulled One #’ed card /25 of Jahmus Ramsey which is in G League I believe

Wow... Select blasters for UFC is Soooooo much better! I have pulled /5 Emerald Green Mezzanine, Gold Concourse Flash, I've hit 2 Zebras but Tigers seem to be pretty hard to hit from retail for UFC. I'd love to grab some of those Giannis cards from you! I don't PC basketball but I do Giannis! He earned it with getting us the 2021 Championship!

I’m sure they made far fewer UFC blasters than NBA, which increases the odds of getting a good hit.

animal print variations are usually 1 per blaster case

I would love to see how many boxes it would take to chase a 1/1 from any product.

I’m new to the hobby, but can already see how quickly the base cards stack up. How much base (if any) do you actually keep/sell? What do most people do with all the base? Love your videos, thanks.

Lots of people give them away as freebies when they sell a card on eBay or the like. Can also separate them by team and sell them as team lots. Or use a clothespin and clip them to your kid's bicycle spokes to make cool sounds.

I've pulled three elephant prints out of these in the past 2 weeks BUT I have bought a lot of hangers and blasters too so......lol

Ive got 4 boxes of these select boxes have not opened them yet I have opened about 8 boxes so far and nothing big at all kinda wondering if i should hold sale or open lol
