What would be our lives without a Prophet of the Lord?

What a blessing to have a prophet in these days. I feel so blessed!

I shouldn't forget that I need to listen to the Lord's voice every day, not just on Sundays. I know that God speaks through his prophet, President Nelson

This came into my recommended. I need to put my faith in action. Today is fast Sunday, and I'm starting now!

I fast & pray weekly now . These are terrible times for children and adults alike .

Putting my faith into action: I am looking forward to fasting tomorrow with prayer to ask for help from our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ to overcome the negative effects of Covid 19. Thank you, President Nelson.

Beautiful talk from our prophet I fasted Friday and I keep fasting for all the people affected by covid-19 and my family and friends and loved ones

We are blessed to have the Lord’s church on the earth again and to hear a real prophet.

Oh how I love President Russel M. Nelson and how blessed we are to have a prophet like him on the earth today! I love his message and I am so thankful the our Father in Heaven speaks through him and guides him. How blessed we are to have such a loving Heavenly Father and perfect Son Jesus to guide and protect us if we will listen and keep the commandments. Thank you President Nelson, I did listen and my family were grateful to fast a couple weeks ago - both times you invited the world to fast. Its been almost weeks and already the pandemic is down, God has heard our prayers and he is blessing the world. We must always trust in the words of the Prophet and listen and do! I love you so much President Nelson!!!

I haven't been to church in about 5yrs , my life is very different now, I have 8month old son & a beautiful Lady & I'm very blessed! I really feel sad that I haven't been to church and I haven't taken my family , I will soon tho. But for now I will continue to always pray and give thanks to Jesus Christ🙏🏽

I can’t believe that it’s been 4 years since this General Conference. I believe saying this here stands as a testament of God’s power. He delivered us from Covid and I’m forever grateful that we got past this plague. God lives and he will provide in your times of need!

I just had this vision last night. Literally. I ascended into the sky and saw the gates of Heaven. Than I descended back onto earth to where I currently am. My spiritual potential was shown by God and the demons tried to tempt me to Hell. I resisted them as usual. The Heavens remained open to me as God’s angels carried me back to earth. I testify the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church restored upon this earth. I testify Jesus is the Son of God and our Redeemer. I testify Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that we do have modern prophets and apostles today who only speak eternal truths. I testify the Bible isn’t the only book that’s true, the Book of Mormon is true too. I thank God and Jesus for blessing my life with my beautiful fiancée whom I am to marry. God truly brought the best woman into my life who loves and cherishes me eternally. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Just so you know the church I go to has spoken about the Heavens opening up before. Good things happen in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So many blessings have come to pass. President Nelson is the prophet of these latter days!

I hope watching this wonderful talk again that in this coming October General Conference 2021 that our dear prophet President Russell M Nelson calls for another world wide prayer and fasting of the Saints. Many are leaving the church blaming others of sound doctrine. The covid pandemic is raging and our faith needs to be strengthened. How blessed we are to have the Saviour of the world to help us go forward in faith.

Form a relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Gain PERSONAL revelation from them by prayer and reading the scriptures. Inspiration will come from Holy Ghost as you build this relationship!

Yes, and other scriptures talk of *much* prayer and fasting. This may not be a one-time occasion. We might have, as a church, more to learn about the principles of fasting than we could otherwise understand from a single event or a one-time sacrifice. (I do, at least. I've already learned from all this.)

Your church is using the name of Jesus Christ but didn't follow the instructions and ordinance of Jesus Christ.

Fasting at least 2x can help strengthen your Immune system and help your body build.

This year has been bad but my family has not yet been affected by this pandemic so I count that as a big blessing

So grateful for living prophet's, these words make me embarrassed that I ever acquiesced to being call a Mormon.

* President Nelson, Why do you let us believe a lie? Why do you allow false doctrine to prevail? In the words of Abinadi to the wicked king Noah and his priests, Have ye taught this people that they should observe to do all these things for to keep these commandments? (Mosiah 13:25) I say unto you, Nay; for if ye had, the Lord would not have caused me to come forth and to prophesy evil concerning this people. (Mosiah 13:26) And what is the commandment Abinadi taught that the people do not obey? Thou shalt have no other God before me. (Mosiah 12:35) Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30) …therefore I finish my message. Yea, and I perceive that it cuts you to your hearts because I tell you the truth concerning your iniquities. (Mosiah 13:7) For by you, President Nelson, we the Saints believe a lie and say our Heavenly Father was created by a being greater than Himself, aka grandpa god. (Hebrews 16:3) And by us believing in false gods before Him, our God becomes an infinity lesser God putting Lucifer before God. Because only Lucifer would foster the belief in gods before Him making Him an infinitely lesser God. But because our God is not an infinitely lesser God He commanded, Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3) And this is the first commandment because of the importance we not put Satan before God. And who could be behind this false doctrine, President Nelson? It could be none other than the son of perdition Paul warns us of in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Because it is Lucifer and the son of perdition who want to exalt themselves above God. (Isaiah 14) That makes you the fulfillment of the apostle Paul’s prophecy in 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2. For the apostle could be referring to none other but you. For there is no other true Church of Jesus Christ with temples. And just as you have us believing the lie Lucifer is above God in the false doctrine of grandpa gods, you have exalted yourself above all that is called of God, or that is worshiped as Paul says, And when the Saints stand before the judgement bar of Christ believing in you and your false doctrine, they will call our Savior a liar saying, There are infinity greater gods than you, Jesus Christ! For you, Jesus Christ, are a liar! You are not the greatest of all! You are not the Most High God! And the Saints can say, For we know this because our prophet, President Nelson, tells us so. And then the words of Isaiah are fulfilled saying, Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20) For by the Saints calling you good, they are calling Jesus Christ evil because He is a liar. For how can our God be the Most High when there are gods before Him? And not only is he a liar to us through you, He is a liar because He says He created all things. (John 1:1-3) But according to you, President Nelson, He did not create all things because science says energy/matter cannot be created or destroyed and you say the false grandpa gods left these thing to our infinitely lesser God. The Saints can believe your lie but I don’t. And the apostle Paul says, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thessalonians 2:11-12) But you being the son of perdition hope to drag us all down to hell with you to be miserable denying the one and only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent, For this is life eternal the Scriptures say and by having us deny the only true God saying He is not the Most High calling the Scriptures and He a liar, Paul says, That they all might be damned who believe not the truth. Because of all the innocent blood the sons of perdition, sons of Belial have shed unto these false grandpa gods when the Saints stand before Christ they will hate him not knowing why and then it will be revealed they loved the son of perdition/Lucifer more than God and believed you, President Nelson, over the Scriptures which testify, there are no gods before Him. I am a Latter-day Saint. But I know better than to believe man over the Scriptures. Our God tells us over and over, Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. (Isaiah 44:8) I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. (Isaiah 44:6) Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:22) But you say He is a liar, President Nelson. And besides this, there are many other false doctrines in the Church you allow us to believe. Know ye not that I speak the truth? Yea, ye know that I speak the truth; and you ought to tremble before God. (Mosiah 12:30)

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of things which are in heaven above, or which are in the earth beneath, or which are in the water under the earth. Mosiah 13:12. I'm confused. What's happened? The Lord has changed the commandments? We must to repent about this great sin. We must not engrave, nor worship any images, even Lord statue.

Tell me where does it say we worship any graven image? Just because there's a statue of Moroni or Jesus Christ doesn't mean it's being worship. Do you know what worship looks like? I doubt it. THE NATURE OF GOD God is often referred to in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as our Heavenly Father because He is the Father of all human spirits and they are created in His image (see Genesis 1:27). God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost constitute the Godhead, or Trinity, for Mormons. Latter-day Saints believe God is embodied, though His body is perfect and glorified. CHRISTIAN The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian church but is neither Catholic nor Protestant. Rather, it is a restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ as originally established by the Savior in the New Testament of the Bible. Latter-day Saints believe God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save all mankind from death and their individual sins. Jesus Christ is central to the lives of Church members. They seek to follow His example by being baptized (see Matthew 3:13-17), praying in His holy name (see Matthew 6:9-13), partaking of the sacrament (see Luke 22:19-20), doing good to others (see Acts 10:38) and bearing witness of Him through both word and deed (see James 2:26). The only way to salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. DIVINE PRIESTHOOD AUTHORITY Latter-day Saints believe that divine authority was lost in the ancient church after the death of the apostles and required a restoration by divine intervention. BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION Baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints requires full immersion in water by a person who holds the priesthood authority to baptize. It is the means by which people join the Church. Those who are baptized into the Church are cleansed of their previous sins and promise to live the principles of the gospel. A person becomes a member of the Church only after they are both baptized and confirmed. PLAN OF SALVATION To describe the trajectory of human existence, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses the term “plan of salvation.” This “plan” refers to the design God has employed to help us grow, learn and experience joy. It addresses the fundamental questions “Where did we come from?” “Why are we here?” and “Where are we going?” Latter-day Saint scripture teaches that all human beings are children of God and lived with Him before this earth life. God presented a plan by which we could obtain physical bodies and a period of earthly experience. MARRIAGE AND FAMILY The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints affirms that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity.

But we worship God and Jesus Christ. He didn't say we cant make graven images of them. And a graven image doesnt have to be an actual statue. It can be any image that we put before God. Like a sports team, a celebrity, our car, our boat...anything that we worship (which is something we adore above all other things and give reverence and honor to) above God is unholy and a sin that needs to be repented for. I pray to the Lord to ask Him "what lack I yet?" In other words: what am I worshipping or putting priority in front if YOU and how can I better myself so I can be closer to you? Sometimes it's my pride, my jealously, my anger, or that I'm on Facebook too much. We can make anything our God.

You didn't listen did you? We don't worship statutes. The Christus statue is a tool to remind us of whom we pray to. Just like the Cross the Catholics use. So you saying they shouldn't wear a cross? The cross reminds others of the person they worship, Like President Nelson said, these are only symbols to remind everyone to worship Jesus Christ

If we all worship our Savior Jesus Christ then why do other Christians who are not memebers of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints jump at any moment in their minds to act non-Christian by trying to decry, disparage of therwise fight against it? We worship only Christ our Savior heart, might, mind and strength and none else do we worship. Until twisting words or any other forms of anger then we are not and cannot be unified in worshipping our Lord and King. There is no good that will ever come from those types of viewpoints and pointing them out whether the viewpoint is right or wrong. It will neither destroy my personal happiness nor more importantly my faith in Jesus Christ who has continually embrased me and my family. I do and will praise His name forever. Please be kind and allow others to worship Christ how, where and what they may. This search for contextual bickering only hurts those who engage in this form of persecution. This man is a prophet called by Christ and it will profit anyone to honestly listen and put his words and adminishings into learning how more effectively worshipping our Savior and Elder Brother.
