@@catclaws119 Not rare, just beloved by RyanFTW. So much so that Ryan is currently going for an “all koala” island. Lyman’s been a staple in his community for a while so to find his amiibo card would be really fun for everyone.

YES EXACTLY! I legit thought he had like two packs in his hand but nope. I can't believe i pay the same amount for 3 cards and get 2 villagers and 1 npc?!

yes omg here in Australia we get 3 cards in total?! but we dont have the annoying cardboard packaging, its just the foil...i guess that's something haha

They packaged like that to prevent people from swapping what's inside also to make it harder for people to steal them I think. + To protect cards from bending.

I've been collecting these since they first came out. And I'm finally down to only needing 4 more cards. Anddd...then they announced Series 5 X'D

Lyman’s card has a purple background, actually. So get hyped when you see that in future hunts XD

Thanks for your videos! I was hoping for an opportunity on purchasing more cards. Just a hint if you don't want to completely destroy the cardboard packaging: Turn the pack backward and upside down. Shake the pack to make sure the cards go down (toward where the pack would hook). You can take scissors or a pen knife and cut/slice the back of the pack where it folds (down by the barcode). Then turn it right side up and the cards will just slip out. This way the cards aren't damaged and you can keep the cute art on the front.

There is a flap on the right side of the cardboard pack if you pull it out it'll let you open it quicker! Hope this helps

That’s funny, Bam and Canberra were the OGs for my island. Anka is one of my two fav villagers and I actually found her on a hunt. I was completely floored lol. She was early in the hunt, like within the first 5 tickets. Lucky hunt that was!

Me too! Now I ended up with two sets of series 1 and two sets of series 4 and a bunch of some extra cards from series 1-4. And also got a whole set of series 5 and some extras. Just when you start getting them, you intended to get them all

Ankha is one of my favorite villagers. I was lucky enough to get her as one of the random move ins at the very start of the game. Been on my island since!

I like collecting these cards, but they're so expensive and inaccessible where I live.

I usually just tear the top part of the cardboard at about an inch down, which usually gets me close or right at the opening in the middle and I can just slide the pack out. 😬 And I agree, it is very annoying.

I was so excited because I found more at target yesterday and I got Lyman and I’m hoping that’ll give you good vibes for finding him.:):) (also the way I open them is like of like a ziplock bag. from the side I use my finger(I suppose scissors could also work if you’re afraid of paper cuts.) and like pry it open and then pull the little rectangle thingy out like its an envelope and we’ll idk if that makes sense but it takes very little time and effort so I hope that helps.^-^^-^)

What are you using to organize your collection?

Different countries change the amount of cards in each pack. I have opened 3 series 2 cards to try and get scoot and I only get 2 villagers and 1 special cards in Australia

I wish porter would come back, maybe as a special event character. I used to talk to him all the time at the train station.. i do think the dodos are iconic though

I still don’t know many villagers & didn’t realize once they visit the campsite camp area that they don’t return. I had Ankhe on the campsite. I couldn’t play for a few days so of course she was gone when I got back. 😢

I bought 15 packs - 1 for every pound I need to lose to get healthy. I scissors to cut the top of the packs to make it easier to open!

I’ve never had amiibo’s. I get what we can do with the villagers but what do we do with the NPCs? Do they offer exclusive items that you can only get with having the amiibo of the NPC?

if they are in New Horizons you can go to harvs island and scan them in and take pictures with them :)

You can get mini amiibo cards on Amazon It's cheaper and you can get a ton in one order
