Hey everyone, here is the start of my new series going to be taking a look at three different high level openings for a new map every week. We are starting off with A Cold Place. Let me know what map you are interested in seeing and what players you want to see.

I like seeing these various openings!! gives good idea for newbies like me. dont get me wrong some the tutorial vids are good even though 30mins+ but sometimes i jus wanna focus on the first builds and go from there! tyvm!!

Blodir was the second opening I did btw.
Im new and just starting to find videos. I didnt expect to see wind being the most common energy source for the start. How much does wind vary map to map

I should have kept watching. i didnt even know there was a wind meter in the top right

It varies map to map but I think you realized that reading your second comment. Just have to remember to build an energy storage for when the wind speed gets low.
