Opening a Sterile Pack Demonstration - Laceration Tray

In this video demonstration, I quickly demonstrate how you open a laceration tray. I show you the contents of a standard laceration tray that you might find in a regular ER or urgent care, and provide a few clinical thoughts. Please realize that most of what I say in the video applies to non-sterile laceration closures, but I still talk about what things you might do differently when performing a full-sterile procedure. I would love some requests and/or ideas. Most of what I post I am making for my full-time students, and then just end up sharing it on KZread as well. But I'm open to taking requests!

Hey Doc! Don't know if you're still around but my ENP grad program just assigned these videos to view before we practice on our SurgiReal suture pads. The funny thing is I was watching your videos for about a year now before I enrolled in this program just last month. Thank you so much for the awesome content!

I'm happy to hear your program is using my videos! That's one of my biggest hopes, is that education programs will share my videos as part of their curriculum. I'm also thinking I may know your ENP program and my be seeing you soon. :)
