Maushold is indeed a mouse household. A family of mice. They're also a reference to the paper families that you cut out with folded paper to have a family holding hands when you unfold it. In game they have a really weird evolution method. At level 25 it will randomly evolve in your party, but without any evolution screen. It just sort of happens. Base Maushold is a family of 4, but it has a 1/100 chance of becoming a family of 3 instead. Its signature move, population bomb, hits 1-10 times, and throws children at the target.

Hey max im pretty sure all code cards are going to be the same in any scarlet violet set products so you dont gotta worry about revealing the code card! some products may have white border codes but they will ALL be all white or all black borders if they are one of them thanks for the content :)

Also I’m sure you know this by now, but every pack now has a Holo/ex on the end, the first reverse slot is a guaranteed reverse, but the second reverse slot can be replaced by an art rare

I really like how they put two slots for reverse holos. Still not a fan of how many cards there are in one set though. I miss when a set could barely hit 150. Now they're close to 300 if you include the gallery special cards

I really like what they did with the cards for this generation. They're finally realising that the Japanese card frame looks so much better. Also, every normal rare is a holo now and the rarities are easier to distinguish (more star = more rare). Very nice compared to the last gen

I'm ngl a few weeks ago I was like "this dude hasn't posted in a while" and by then you were gone for 11 months. These consistent uploads feel like the best chocolate cake being force-fed to me and I love it

these new cards are really starting to lean more towards looking like the japanese cards, with the grey borders and how the holos look, i like it

I like how some of the new pokemons names have other languages for what animal they are. The mouse family having Maus in it (German for mouse) and the funny weed cat middle evolution has Gato (Spanish for cat) their name literally being Flora Cat I.E Plant Cat

The single star holo rares are just what were considered "character" or "trainer gallery" in the previous sets. The ones above those are the alt arts and secret rares.

I also opened one earlier this week :) I have never bought a booster box before but seeing you upload again made me buy one for my girlfriend and I and she got the alt. Art Gardevoir line and I was JEALOUS, to say the least.

You're correct about Maushold. It also has a minor variations with it, Family of 4 being the more common one and Family of 3 the rarer one.

I think the extra card is because they increased the price so they announced they were going to add an extra card in every pack up I didn't know it would be a reverse.

SAME! I pulled the Miriam + Gardevoir EX + pretty much every other rare and highly valuable card! My box must’ve been glitching and broke the simulation bc I got ALL the best cards and then some 🎉😬🎈😁👌🫶

At the very least for casual collectors who pick up a pack here and there you can no longer really be dissapointed, either you get a holo and feel satisfied or get something cooler and feel great

At around 24:40 the silent reveals had such a nice sound, even if momentarily

I am going to miss doing the card shuffle after opening the packs, I found it quite enjoyable.

Max went from never being in my sub box, to now always being in my sub box

The new sets are more like Japan's sets so there will always be a holo. Also the codes were changed in the later parts of the Sword and Shield sets to show they don't really impact the pull

A also very nice addition to the new Seatment of the cards 7 non-Holos, 2 Reverse-Holo/AR(IR in English)/SAR(SIR in English) or Gold, Double Gold and TrippleGold Star Rarty, and at least 1 Holo-Rare or better per pack, we also have now all-Black-Border-Codecards again, bec of 1 holo-Rare (or Better) per pack. an of course Silver/Grey Cardborders and the Better Holos as well as Reverses. quite happy about the changes they made! cant wait to open my stuff!!!

FYI fuecoco is pronounced like foo-eh-coco. Its a mix between fuego (fire in spanish) and cocodrilo (crocodile in spanish). Miss u man, loving your new videos

as far as anybody can tell the code cards dont seem to mean anything anymore? not sure. from what i can tell it might depend on the kind of product the pack is associated with? but regardless it seems completely random at the moment, i’d imagine theyre trying to get rid of the kinds so that its just standardized, but thats just my guess lol

Of all the openings Maxmoefoe has done for the English Scarlett and Violet, this one is by far the best!

I guess it’s cool that there’s always a holo or better in a pack. Also, I’m pretty sure the color of the code card doesn’t matter anymore and it’s always green and white

The cards with gold cards are found in the 2nd reverse slot and the gray/silver stars are in the hole slot

Love that you have been uploading so much! I decided to go out and get a box and got some pretty good pulls, personally I really like the 2 reverse cards! It was definitely pretty confusing at first but very cool. Your luck seemed kind of outrageous though.

The way the pack order is like the older Japanese set that had the 2 holis followed by the gx spot followed by the shattered glass holo card slot

So in order to make up for the prices per pack increasing due to inflation, they've started including 3 rare slots per pack From what I gathered, 1st is always reverse, 2nd is another reverse or Art rare, and 3rd is a Holo or Ex

I don't think the code card spoils the rarity of the hits anymore. You showed quite a few white and green backed code cards and some had hits and some had the bog standard two reverses and a holo.

personally, i love the new style of 2 reverses and a guaranteed holo. means whatever u buy is guaranteed to have at least *Some* value, for casual openers especially, means ur never really gonna have a "dead" pack. each pack is gonna have a decent looking card for you yk.
