No it isn't. This is all a farce. ChatGPT can't even properly tell you the answer to the most basic questions without hallucinating, lying, or just not knowing. And it has gotten that way over time, degrading to the point of uselessness over the past several months.

Remember kids, when the product you're using is free, YOU are the product. There's a lot of altruism and virtue in the things we're hearing about this technology. I hope it is genuine because this is an important product that can change the world. If they follow the Zuckerburg model though, the change may not necessarily be as positive as we hope. We're living in interesting times for sure.

@@DJCJ. I’m 50/50 on that myself. Humans gonna human but there are good ones out there working with this stuff with good intentions. To be clear I’m sure there will be turbulence no matter what. Change is a crazy thing. Once jobs really start disappearing people will riot and Ww3 may be fought over AI and/or Gpus. So whomever climbs out of the rubble would be in the proposed utopia. 😂

  • @woodandwandco

I like how they added hesitancy in the first few words to give it time to process a proper response. It gives the personified impression that the agent is "looking" at the image and "thinking" about it, which maps well onto the actual time delay in human cognition. I think further optimization of word choice will be needed in order to make it fully natural sounding. Right now the subtext clearly sounds like "background computing", but definitely craftily disguised. Well done.

21:16 "We want to remove some of the mysticism from the technology" Proceeds to make it sound more human-like and try to give it personality, as well as making it so that people don't focus on the UI and inner workings at all (2:58). And of course, they're still not willing to address how they made it in the first place by taking people's data without their consent, disregarding worries around the ethics of that while keeping a positive PR front where they try to assure people that they want to "mitigate misuse". I'm not stupid enough to buy into that. Unfortunately, people are emotionally driven, not intellectually, so they will make up all kinds of reasons to explain why they think there is no problem using A.I. for whatever purpose they have and completely shut off others who have a different opinion from theirs, not because theirs is true but just because they want to "win" an argument.

I don't know how to feel about this video. It's groundbreaking, but at the same time sad. Millions just lost their jobs with one quick presentation... those people need to start making moves fast

@@josiahz21 OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is in talks with investors, including from the United Arab Emirates, to raise between $5 trillion to $7 trillion in funding. The goal, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, is to increase the world's chip manufacturing capacity and enhance AI capabilities. -One could only ask for such an amount of funding if there truly is something special behind closed doors..Either that, or it's the scam of the century..

Ubi , hmm maybe if it was some kind of investment to companies taxes or something, so everyone rich and poor can receive a even monthly pay, everything like governments, banks, people, companies, environmental health, everything could stay the same and competition growth would speak for itself. Bring on robots and world Analysis systems with the people choices, governments, banks, everything.

Easy do away with ALL forms of gov aid, unemployment, social security ssa etc. And instead every child under 18 you are responsible for legally gets you $500 a month until they turn 18. Every working adult gets $1,000 a month no matter what. And every retired or disabled person gets $1,500 a month. My calculations show this would save the gov $ costing between 3.5-4trillion a year here in the US. It would also automatically lift 33-40,000,000 people out of living below the federal poverty line. It would also allow people working with no savings, to start saving&pay off debts. So it would reduce crime and allow many working class families to afford basic healthcare etc.
