I was saved by Jesus Christ from a terrible drug addiction of 7 years. I OD 3 time’s and hospitality more then I can count,sent too rehab multiple times!Even went too jail for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.I felt as if I was in a never ending cycle of dark addiction. Im sober now,have good friends,workout, and plan on going too college or a trade.But most importantly I am saved from the past,Because of the beautiful light/love of Jesus Christ’s🙏🏼🙏🏼😇

My little brother passed 12.3.23 after a long battle with cancer. He had many struggles in life, even before the cancer. Thankfully, 2 days before he passed, he accepted Jesus as his Savior. I'm so blessed to have been with him when he accepted Jesus and when he took his final breath. It brings me peace to know he's no longer in any pain. I'll mourn him forever, but I rejoice in his freedom

God saved me I was in a Bicycle accident 5 - 6 years ago and was pronounced dead, I was lifted up and saw my body laying down on the pavement and seeing my sister yelling please help my big brother he's dying, I woke up in an ambulance where I was in a body bag and everyday I am thankful to be here, God is real and he will be taking us home soon.... What a blessing that will be.

I have this song carved in my heart, when i was about 2 or 3 yo, my parents put this dvd at our house every other day, and im Brazilian so my mother language is portuguese, but i remember clearly all the words in this song, i remember singing it even though I didn’t know what the words meant, but i new i was worshiping God, and i love this memories so much. i hope that never changes, it's too easy to disconnect and lose sight of God in our busy lives, if you keep praying, you will see that he will give you what you ask for, I have never lost my faith because of that. @@mariejones2302 Yes, the same for me Marie. Never give up! My son is in jail now. It broke my heart, and as I was before the Lord praying He said "Leave him to me" and he is now going to rehab soon. Many years ago He gave me a picture of him sitting on a wrought iron settee talking to another young man under a few trees on a sunny day. Then the Lord told me, "He (my son) is telling other young man about Me." And that promise is what I hold onto now. No , never give up praying and blessing your love ones. He is a who hears and knows our name!

I do believe God does open our eyes in all circumstances. There are times i see God in so many trials and tribulations. Open my heart always. This song welcomed me back into the arms of God. I want to see YOU high and lifted up. Lord, pour out your POWER.

God saved me many years ago and there were times that I have strait away from God but now after 48 years I am so thankful that God never left me and I am on solid ground with my Savior and Lord.

I was raised Catholic and it's okay to be Catholic but I never felt the Holy Spirit until I went to the Assembly of God and sang this song. That was a beautiful version. Good job!

I had the blessing of knowing Paul when I was a child. Paul was my assistant baseball coach alongside my dad and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know him and his son! I’ve been struggling with my faith for a while now. Was raised baptist, went to youth group, Christian summer camp (where I first heard this song), but struggled with a lot of things. Initially it was the hypocrisy of some of those within my church. I left the church, kind of flip flopped, made so many attempts to come back. It’s just that I struggled with the horrible things that some people who claim to be Christian do in the name of Christ. I want the relationship with God, but how can I believe in a God who lets awful things happen? Believe it or not, what brought me here was the passing of Norm Macdonald. I was honestly gutted. I grew up watching him on SNL. He was, and will probably always be, my favourite comedian. After he died I was surfing KZread for his content and to hopefully smile through such a loss. Among the videos of Weekend Update and old stand up bits were a few moving interviews regarding his spirituality. Like me, he seemed to have struggled with his faith but in the end, seemed to have made peace with it and had, from my understanding, found God. I felt drawn to his words, found them comforting. And out of the blue, this song popped in my head, singing it at that summer camp mess hall as a teenager, just the worship leader and his guitar and us joining him. It was nagging at me, until just now I listened to it on repeat for about twenty minutes or so. I feel guilty that Norm’s death is what it took, but here I am. Sorry for the rambling post but I needed to get this off my chest.

@@Varus1523 better thanks! Not 100% but I do feel like my faith in God is strengthening. I think I have a way to go. I’m still horrified by some of the practices of people who do injustice in the name of God, but I try to separate that. We are human. One of Norm’s quotes in an interview (to paraphrase) is that one of what he drew from Christianity is that it’s a faith where we are both wretched and divine, and that he thought it was a more accurate representation of what people are like. Long story short, I’m in a better place than I was even 4 months ago, so that’s a start!

People always fail. But the Lord never does. We love Him for not giving up on us, for being patient, forgiving and merciful to us, but we forget He does the same for others, when they fall, fail, & hurt us. It has to hurt Him so much more! Yet He remains faithful, true to us. He has many children who don't represent Him well, but it's not His fault. Don't blame Him for how His people fail, it's between them, and Him. Just hold to Him, His word, His ways. Keep a close relationship with Him, and your eyes on Him, nothing else. It's His love, His help that will get you through this life and safely to the next one.

Thank you. LORD, for opening the eyes of my heart, & bringing song & scripture back into my heart & mind. Thank you for meeting me on the darkest night of my life, while fighting covid at home, & for saving my soul spiritually! You are a wonderful father. You love me! I woke up with this song on my lips this morning, singing it as I made our coffee. We are in a time that is startling and my prayer is that everyone comes to repentance and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It's amazing how I've had experiences of some sort of rush inside me all of a sudden: this happened while I was praying once. I'm so fortunate to have had these experiences: it may as well strengthen my dwindling faith. The least faithful sometimes become the most blessed.
