Open-Source Groundwater Data For ArcGISPro Project || Groundwater Data from India-WRIS

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel, Space Remote Sensing and GIS. Today, we're going to discuss how to download data from the India WARIS portal.
After downloading the data, you might not get coordinate values. To solve this, we'll use the available West Bengal district boundary map from Living Atlas. Using this district map, we'll join the groundwater table Excel data district-wise using the joining tool.
Before joining, we need to ensure that both tables have district information in the same format. After that, we'll use the joining tool to merge the Excel data with the district map.
Using a data engineering tool, we'll create a groundwater level map and a bar graph to analyze the data. Additionally, we'll use the Layer to Point tool to convert the data into point values.
Since we'll create a raster layer using IDW interpolation, we'll need to convert the layer to polygons using the IDW tool under spatial analysis in interpolation. This will help us create the groundwater level map in raster format.
In conclusion, we'll have both vector and raster maps showing groundwater levels. If you found this video helpful, please share it with others and subscribe to my channel. Thank you.
