Back in 2006 I was like 19 and didn’t know too much about what went down on aurora just that it was kind of a cheap place; me and my ex gf went to that hotel thinking it would be a cheap place to stay for the night; “hmm weird they have hourly rates, wonder why they would do that” … we get in and it’s a mess blood on the carpet, sheet stains the bathroom looked like it wasn’t clean, smelled nasty; … I went and asked if I could get refunded after 5 minutes there thinking they wouldn’t but the guy didn’t hesitate to give me my money back… that area of Seattle has always been a shit hole

I work security patrol on Aurora. I will tell you every street corner hoes stand: 90th, 94th, 96th, 100th, 103rd,105th, 107th, 117th, 125th,128th, 130th, 132nd, 135th, 137th, 140th,141st, 143rd, 145th. 😂

122nd was the local of the two motels that were closed. The pimps will move there product to another corner.

The Emerald motel managers were the coordinators of the coming of pimps and the prostitutes , they called them , provided the girls with clothes , sanitary stuff , they accepted drug dealers inside the motel and charged 160 dollars every day for the rooms to the prostitutes while they charge 60 to any other client , they never control the abuses of the pimps against the girls , sometimes shooting to their feet to intimidate them , Mr. and Mrs. Lee told the normal clients not to call the police , they accepted minors prostitutes and the fight between pimps inside the motel , pimps from other motel shooting to the insider pimps . The motel was attacked many times , shootings and car crashes and the managers had the help of an asian Sargeant policeman. Now the Emerald owner try to present themselves as the blind victim of the crime they were participating!!! They never paid the right taxes of the daily 160 dollars that paíd all the prostitutes, all the time the motel full capacity...... Where are the people from the state that control the taxes payments??? I knew this place for 18 months , no license suspended , no fines , nothing . Big mafia

I just drove through there today for the first time in a long while. The three worst hotels (Emerald?) all had their parking lots barricaded off and were apparently closed. I only saw one prostitute. She was walking south in front of the cemetary. When I came back an hour later, the same girl was walking north. Looks like they're serious about closing down the stroll this time?

I would go to Seattle as often as I could a long time ago it is a beautiful city or it used to be after i saw what is going on now i will not be going back this is very sad

Can't wait to move outta the sound 1 day. The corruption is real here. I'm looking at country land instead. Beautiful landscapes with no annoying traffic or trash. Only sometimes the occasional drug addicts would maybe find their way in however they also have police that actually arrest them too. I like to go camping and hiking away from this mess. Seattle is dead.

Today the "hoovervilles" never went away, but the names for the people that stayed "drug addicts" and "mental health victims" were relayed. When you got nothing to choose, you got nothing to lose, and after the arrest is a jail cell and free food. It's quite obvious this has always been the case, over so much time things haven't changed much in this place.

This only got to be a big problem when, in the last decade, our state was abducted by a flagrant criminal Governor who only supports human trafficking and murder. Not one of his historically high record breaking actions have improved ANY social challenge from his first day in office. As a matter of fact many of them have become either emergency or crisis situations while he has been unilaterally implementing "new" taxes to fight them. All new tax income and federal aid to our state has completely disappeared with zero accountability as to where the billions of dollars went.

Most of the shelter staff purposely bully clients to make it more chaotic to get more funding then pocket the extra money instead of making program better the very few staff that actually wear nice to the client's admitted but there was definitely corruption going on and this is all the low-income programs DSHS DVR Social Security Section 8 they all do bullying to the clients illegal bureaucracy

thanks to him my wife had to drive 8 hours with No AC because he banned Refrigerant recharges and i couldnt buy a recharge because passed a bill last year. he took the EPAs recommendation and he decided to go above and beyond to make regular peoples lives miserable.. on his own.

Aurora Avenue has been that way for years, man. I live here, too. Heck, there are videos here on YT cruising up and down Aurora in the daytime with all of the girls walking around wearing just enough to not get arrested. Not true. I grew up in that neighborhood and seen the area go through many cycles. It is all about perceived benefit. When the police are tough and the costs are high, there is no problem. Parents are not investing enough in their kids. Let's start locking up the parents of the young adults.

They're talking about an Oregon man who picked up an Aurora girl last week, made a deal, told her he was SPD, cuffed/cobbled her, drove her all the way to his Oregon basement cell from which she escaped a few hours later. No age released to my knowledge.
