Humble man, remembering the days out at Carlton it’s sad that’s gone. The ambiance at quarter time,half time was wonderful. The walk back too my mate Franks car after a win joyous,and getting home too watch the Saturday night replay. All gone,anyway

I am a die hard Swans supporter , but man did i love watching Kouta play football ... when this guy was on, there was not too many better .....

Wow 11 min in and I’m thinking this guy is one of the most respectful talented intelligent players to ever play this game! The fact he is not at carton passing on all that talent and wisdom is a huge blurt on the management at carton! Sounds like some serious jealousy is brewing in the minds at carton! The moment they get rid of that Rott in the club is when greatness will return to Carlton ! I’m a north supporter and would of loved to have him at north ! He would be an asset to any club or organisation! Thx for the memories Kouta! Sorry to here of your loss with your father I also went through the loss of my father which I have not recovered from! Saw this legend with some mates at a Greek Hut souvlaki franchise this legend owned at the time in the Templestowe area in 2007. He was in the kitchen and we saw him and yelled out " Big Kouta" he smiled and gave us the thumbs up. Absolute legend.

Geez really settle down, both top players going for a different ball why so bitter?watch 99 prelim and talk against koota. Maybe if hird didn't go of different story might have been different but he did and essendon had no answer to koota. give me another example of a team who had no answer like that. He owned essendon that was hard to do. back, centre, forward. Make no mistake there was many games he won the bet just bitter people disagree. I was there you were not loses

I’m a lifelong Fitzroy/Brisbane supporter, but most opposition fans liked “Kouta”.

Big difference between depression and being caught in an unhappy situation. Its not depression in my case its a legacy of the past that impacts on the present.

Fantastic player.....a game winner. Thank God he played for Carlton! What a player!!!

Oh i remember watching the 2000 brownlow. If he didnt get injured against essendon in the last 3-4 rounds, he definitely would have won

I'm from Fremantle and I go for Freo but Koota was way better than pretty boy Fyfe come on.
