How to Upgrade Tweeters in custom build Open Baffle speakers with visaton bg 17 drivers. I use AMT-9 (Air Motion Transformer) tweeters from Arylic to improve the sound of my own build loudspeaker system. Since the tweeter should not be directly connected to the power amp, otherwise it will burn out, you need found a small 2 way filter. As a poweramp I use arylic B50, D class with a lot of features, also sub out, what do you think, does it make sense for me to try these open baffle with some HiFi AB class amp ?

Set up looks good, but you should be using a small tube amp. Not sure what the efficiency of the drivers are but a nice EL84 or 6v6 amp would give you better tone and clarity. Your sound stage sounds kinda of tin like. Tubes will help correct this.

you can get a 18 inch full range speaker not capping like fr, i'm thinking of doing a 18 inch full range speaker version of this
making acoustics without a measuring microphone is similar to adjusting the colors of a monitor without a colorimeter. In both cases, the output will be an incomprehensible result. it will differ from the previous state, but it is impossible to evaluate the result objectively

true, i have some measurement microphones, ths is first step, put all together and then start tune the freq responce.
