Danke für dieses Video.... Für mich einer, wenn nicht sogar DER schönste Opel, den man je gebaut hat. Als ich ihn 1987 das erste Mal sah, war ich begeistert. Heute ist er seltener zu sehen als ein Rolls Royce Phantom....

As a colleague drove me once in this beast to the train station I instantly felt in love with youngtimer cars :D They got such a rock solid attitude and character....simply great!!!! And the sound....wwwwwrrrrrrruuuuuum thanks for the vid :D

Super leuk Jos zo'n filmpje, dit is en blijft mijn favoriete auto. Heb er twee gehad, 1e was een 3.0 12v CD uitvoering alles behalve leer. De 2e was een 24v CD ook alles behalve leer. Helaas beide weg moeten doen omdat het roestduiveltje te veel had weg genomen. En de tweede helaas is dat die jullie aanbieden ruim boven budget is qua aanschaf. Des al niet te min een super wagen ! Welke echt een nieuwe eigenaar verdient die hem goed zal onderhouden en bereiden.

To the attention of Mr Verhulst: I will be extremely grateful if you answer the following question. I am the owner of an Opel Senator that is in quite similar good condition in terms of conservation. I also have interest in selling, due to personal circumstances. My main intention is not really to reach a high price but giving this marvellous car a "second opportunity". The problem is that the car is in Seville (Spain) and, as far as I know, there is no market for this model here. If is avoidable, I don't want to send this beauty to the auto crusher. The question is, taking in consideration yours experience: ¿do you think is a good idea to contact some profesional seller in your country? ¿can you suggest any name? Thank you. Pd. I will thanks any information of anybody, even if it is only a general idea.

I would give You the advise trying to sell it by Catawiki, www.catawiki.nl, a Dutch auctioneer of all kinds of goods, including classic cars. When You give a good discription of the car, and very important, make a lot of detailed photographs, I'm sure somebody interested in Europe will make a bid. You can give a minimum price, preventing selling the car for € 1,-. The only costs are those You have to pay when the car is sold. It might be commercial right to offer the possibilty that the car can be transported, perhaps there is a car transporter in the neighborhood of Seville. Let me know if You try Catawiki. Selling the car to an profesional seller doesn't work out, a Senator needs an end user. Greetings, Jos Verhulst

Ich habe 16 Stück.......

Mein Senator in Rembrandt-Silber, Bj 1991, sieht besser aus und hat erst 92.000km gefahren. Es ist der unkomplizierte 12 V, also 3,0 i 177 PS mit KAT. In jeder Beziehung ohne Rost, insbesondere an den Radläufen. Der original Unterbodenschutz ist noch vorhanden und er wird mit H-Kennzeichen genutzt. Der hier, mit tosender Musik, vorgestellte Senator hat ein klapperndes Motorgeräusch und die Wählbebelabdeckung (Laufband) fehlt. Meiner hat die viel bessere Velursaustattung in hellem Ton. Also, immer "auf dem Teppich bleiben!"

I've solded it to a real Senator lover, who plans to keep the car for a long time, in which he will make it in a even more better conditioning.
