It's a great atmospheric engine from Opel. Good old 4 cilinder petrol engine. I have this car for a year. It's a great family car. It's not a rocket, but i am not race driver. Engine is simple and cheep to maintain. Car looks really good especially in Cosmo package. I am really satisfied with my Astra j.

I've just bought this car, same engine, only thing I do find with it is that it can be quite thirsty. It's alright on motorway runs.

@@STANDUP47 I think you car doesn't have door lower part threshold strip. So you hear the tire and outside noises. You should buy a suitable strip and paste it. It will resist

@@TopSpeedBrothers this 16xer engine is not suitable for LPG conversion as intake and exhaust valves loose specifies after 60.000 km. Fuel consumption 10 l/100km.

Good driving especially for the weather conditions in such a heavy front wheel drive car.

Ich bewege meinen Astra J (1.4 Turbo 120 PS) auf der Landstraße meistens auch so - dauert zwar ein wenig bis er Schwung hat, aber wenn es mal soweit ist macht es sehr viel Spaß, er liegt wie ein Brett und macht hohe Kurvengeschwindigkeiten möglich, sehr geil! :D Cooles Video ;)

Habe den Astra H mit dem 1.6 115ps. Bin jetzt bei 237000km. Läuft immernoch super und schafft auch die 210kmh auf dem Tacho. Einzig waren die Nockenwellenhersteller nach 220t km. Aber das kann man dem Auto verzeihen.

Klasse zu hören das du mit dem auto zufrieden bist👍 Kaputte Nockenwellenversteller sind zwar ärgerlich aber bei der laufleistung völlig ok.

Bei dem Gewicht und der PS Zahl kann man nicht mehr erwarten

I have an opel mokka, 2015 1.6 liter 136hp diesel ecoflex, also has 6 gears. Owned it for the better part of a year, bought it used at 115.000 km, and it's good. Driving it every day in greece, if has proved to be very good at overtaking, i mean 136hp ain't a lot but it has some serious turbo boost. Also it gets great fuel consumption, with me and my heavy foot lol, it gets about 5-5.5 liters/100km and about 1.000 km distance. I bought it for 15k euros, and if you want my opinion, it's honestly a good car, even though a little ugly in my opinion, it's worth buying for a price around there.

I'm planning on buying the 2009 version, with the same power, how is it to drive, is it sluggish or good enough?

It all depends to what you are used. They drive well and maintenance shouldn't be to expensive. But for me there is never enough power 😅😅

1.6 engines came around 2015 so a 2009 version i suppose is the 1.7 isuzu engine, that one is euro5 while this is 6

It can be lazy on lower revs, but after you go above 3500 revs engine really kick. Btw if you care about consumption on high revs you better go for 1.4 turbo. I don't care. I like this atmospheric engine. It's cheap to maintain and not too prone to breakings.

Do u think the hatchback would vary much from wagon?

En segunda lo tieme que subir a 80 km/h eso es casi 5000rpm en ese coche si no cuando metes tercera sr muere

El video no dice nada de especial,todo lo contrario,el pesimo motor
