Baba is simply saying what is being said on the internet not real itan ijinle, he is even using english/non yoruba words like Edo, Eweka, Niger state, badagry area. This knowledge is compromised and influenced by non traditional narratives. For example, nobody knows Okanbi in Ife. Oranmiyan yo handkerchief...ni bo ni Oranmiyan ri Handkerchief nigba yen? some of these babas don't like giving the real history to non-initiates

It's not a fake story what the hell is wrong with you people? Can't you guys listen? Oranmiyan went everywhere having different wives and doing different things in different places. HENCE, every account of Oranmiyan in the places he passed through or settled will differ from the other because he didn't live the same life in those places. It's all different parts of a whole truth not fake stories. Same with Osun, there are multiple versions of her story depending on where she was, what she did and who she was in that location. What a bunch of ignorant people. Yes there are secrets that will never be disclosed to non-initiates but no one especially not the ones in charge of sharing the story of the heritage site will sit and be telling you untrue things of such a spiritual and great historical figure, rada rada oṣi.

I have heard this story thousands of times, same lines, no addition or subtraction. I could agree with Opa Oranmiyan to be a bit odd, possibly missing some lost narrations but it is not what anyone cannot fill in. I heard that every Oba that visits this Opa or another Opa in Yoruba has to dig a hole (DOT) to mark his kingship. If the narration is not enough, you can add your own, it is a matter of cognitive, storytelling, and imagination. Fit in the pieces or the blanks. You might not agree, but the story isnt completely fake, but might be missing meaning traditions as well narrations.
