i really think so, those images don´t just get to you from gossip, he must have had to be in a shady website, if it was "just" gossip that would just make him a paptetic excuse of a human being but having images its just can´t happen normally

@@REYCER0 The only way this could be "gossip" is if it was from someone within the systems that were involved in the case. In which case, someone on the inside is leaking info and/or CP imagery and they need to be severely punished as well, because that's the only other way FIL could've seen those images if he wasn't on such a website himself.

Yeah... no... FIL is shady. Talk with the cops definitely. As well as the social/case worker in charge of her case. Blow the whistle on that man.

I think OP told us a fib. When he said that he dropped his girl off and she said "thanks Dad,I love you". OP stated that a tear or 2 fell. I call BS. OP had tears rolling down his face. 😭 😂

I shed a few tears over this one. Well done to OP, his wife and sons for giving the young lady a loving, stable home where she can feel safe and secure, and learn what it means to be surrounded by those who love, trust and believe in her. I am sure their new daughter will make them proud.

This made me cry. Why can't there be more of people/parents like OP and his wife? I certainly hope they know just how special they are for what they've done for their daughter and the other foster children they've cared for in the past. What happened to that young woman is horrifying, I've been there myself. I am just so very glad for her that this family has made her an official member of such a loving family unit.

Even if FIL wasnt the one who "recognised" OP's daughter the rumours must have come from someone who did, who saw daughter in person or a picture, in either case associated with daughter being in OP's care. Someone close enough to the in-laws. The police still has work to do and FIL/MIL has more questions to answer.

Sharing someone's private pics without their consent is enough to sue someone for

I am very open about my experience of being S. Ad as a child. There were Polaroids and home movies. This was over 40 years ago. I don't know what happened to those images. Were they destroyed? In an FBI file somewhere? Is some pe* o looking at them? This is the aspect of my a* u $ e that really haunts me and gives me panic attacks. To the OP and supporters, you have no idea how much this story pulled at all my heartstrings. You have saved her, in every way. My most sincere wishes that you have more and more wonderful days

I get having a conversation with those around you about how they'd feel about a girl being adopted into the family, but to ask permission like OP and his wife sounds weird to me. You love the foster like your own daughter. Bring it up with her and see what she thinks about it and include the family in after. Also... FIL sounds like a nasty sexual predator. OP and his wife never told anyone (not even their own sons) about the trauma and abuse this poor girl had to endure. This means the FIL found them on sites that were probably geared for the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. OP said his wife doesn't even have a good relationship with her parents. Why go to these people for advice?

​@@TiffWafflesOP wasn't asking for permission. They were trying to gauge how the family would accept and treat the gal post adoption. Adoption is new territory for the whole family. As it turned out, it's a good thing they did talk with all the family. Who knows what FIL and MIL would've said or done.
