Coming back to these videos after so long is a real nostalgic experience. I watched these probably around when I was first getting into KZread, which isn’t that long ago but I was like only 80% of my current age so it’s sort of crazy. Each new beat or riff brings back so many memories, and your humour is just as funny as I remember, amazing.

actually fun to take it out with you and sample random sounds you find, like street photography, but street....sampling? then come home and mix it all together and see what unique sounds you get :-)

That is what made Kanye West in demand when he first started out. He never left his room and mastered his samplers and synthesizers. He was know to make funk nasty fresh beats for rappers. basically the 10 thousand hour rule.

Watching you do this is seriously the first time I’ve watched someone just jam out with electronic music in a way that takes full advantage of the electronic aspects. I’ve seen loopers and solo musicians. But something about this is both inspiring and kind of zen-inducing.

I looked up Shawn Wasabi because of this, and while I do love the way he does music, I still also love watching you create a song from scratch. It's nice to see all of the layers and effort put in.

Just near the beginning here. You mention the metronome. I wasn't aware it was the metronome, and I thought it was just a sick beat to go with the song. The metronome was giving me this medical, low health vibe, and it made it full of awe, and wonder, and fear. If you consider having it in the future, I would appreciate it! Edit: I really enjoyed watching you make this song. It's a very fun song, and so hearing/seeing each part being made is very entertaining!

The ending is the best part. REALLY liked that slapped bass, that ping-pong vocal chant, and panning synth.

I first saw an Op-1 on accurate beats channel and I figured it must have been his childhood toy that he wanted to use in one of his beats. After coming here this is the most magnificent instrument I have ever seen. Thank you, Red means recording.

honestly i think the metronome is overlooked as an instrument. sometimes a nice little click or beep is all you really need

I tripped so hard when I realized what was going on with the animation at the end of the video during the track. very nice.

I started playing the flute in elementary school over 20 years ago. Ended up being pretty good at it and went on to do symphony and private lessons and the whole deal. Learned a bunch of theory through that, and then tried to teach myself the missing pieces. Ended up dropping out of school for music performance because of nerves. This is where I am now, using all of my musical powers to make meme videos on the internet.
