Really like your rig. I’m usually limited to the creeks in my 14 footer. I like fishing the stumps in Talala creek.

Live on Talala Creek fish from the bank and have not had any luck just snag after snag.

Thats a bummer. Catfishing is great for bank fishing. Relaxing as well. Kick back and wait for the takedowns.

Hey would u try something for me? Would u take a shad and after u hook it smash it’s guts then do every other one like that and see witch one is best. Live vrs gut smash ? R u smoking that new (pain med) in that pipe lol. I was up below the dam and a little ole guy was sitting there catching little catfish as fast as he could take them off. I ask him what he was using and he said minnows. I said me too and he ask me if I was smashing them and he showed me how he does it. I had 7 little baby’s had and I put one on and smashed it and boom. Mine was twice the size of his and when I ask him if he wanted yea he said boom another the same size then another his was all the same size too but little he walked over to look at my minnows and he said mans those r shad can I have one I said I have 2 left and yes u can have one. It was a good night fishing
