Onyx Vesper Hubs first ride.
Спорт
First time out on the silent Onyx Vesper hubs! So cool to just hear the trail and your bike working! Super pumped on the engagement and speed of these hubs!
I kept the commentary quite so you could hear the just how rad the silent hubs make the rest of the sounds all pop out!

The sound of tires on whatever surface youre riding on is just 👌👌
It is crazy to not hear hub....makes me crazy cause then I hear all the creaks and slaps on my bike lol. Those hubs are awesome.

Straight Line MTB thanks man! It is a trip to get use to all the other sounds!
Now I want to hear pure tire noise of knobby tires on pavement! Also those trails look like a dream!!
Wow that’s really nice, you can hear all 👌🏻
That hub is amazing dude!
Watching this video without hearing any noise from the hubs is akin to ASMR. I feel so relaxed hearing the tyres clinch the trail! Lots'a love, cheers, & Mabuhay, from tropical Philippines! #KeepBiking
Awesome trails.
Whoa. Those things are damned quiet!
How did we not realize you had a channel! Lol great video, just subbed! Happy shredding!

I was going to say what a sweet trail, then I realized that's up near the confluence and I live 45 minutes away..sweet mary of mother thank you! Also, considering the Vesper :)
Wow awesome
Damn, super quiet hubs. Is the engagement good? Grizzly looks like it's running much better than the last time I rode it. It was super sketchy a couple of months ago. Good stuff!!

Chris Green grizz is legit right now! And engagement is instant. It is insane.
I am thinking about an Onyx hub. Do you find pedal kickback to be a problem?
IDK, quiet hub sounds like a good idea, but my hub is my speedometer lol. Looks like some nice riding up there!
Which trail is this? I love how quiet those hubs are!

Ryan Vite this is in Auburn Star Rec Area
Are you still running these? How is reliability? Do you notice the "Sponginess" at engagement?
hey cool young dude. So how do you like the Vesper two years later? I have bought Vesper and getting ready to build and want your input. Thanks.

Axs dropper..!!! You should add the axs eagle too!
Do these vesper hubs make or help the wheel turn quicker? IE when free rolling dh or down a road?
@Shred_Tube

MTB NorCal good to hear having a wheel set built with these hubs in the candy red pc laced to some Stans FlowEx3s.
Nice! What was the first trail you did?

Justin Santos ohhhhh. We don’t speak of that one haha. Shoot us a DM on ig an I’ll fill ya in!👊🏽
I wish there was an on off switch for buzzing. Sometimes I like it, but sometimes I prefer quiet.
DT Swiss with grease is also silent. 😂
What is you hearing? Everything, but no hubs.

@@declan_rides_bikes7542 your points valid because I have used a makeshift mount on my chin to get a little if her angle so I could point it down see down the trail and see the front wheel.
If I was going to spend 500$ on a rear hub, it would probably be an onyx. Nothing beats the aesthetic sound of tires on dirt. I wouldn't ever bother replacing a front one though, and 500$ is too much money for a hub. I spent half that on my whole wheelset.

why not replace the front hub?
