Ontario's Forest City Serial Killer w/ Vanessa Brown - A True Crime History Podcast

Музыка

In late 1960s a serial murder stalked the city of London, Ontario, killing at will and baffling police.
My guest is author, bookstore owner and historian Vanessa Brown. She has spent countless hours researching these horrific murders and looking for the killer, and joins us to share details and theories from her book, "The Forest City Killer: A Serial Murderer, a Cold-Case Sleuth, and a Search for Justice."
Her bookstore's website is: brownanddickson.com/

Lived in Vancouver, Canada for 7 years in the 90's. Found it extremely difficult to make friends, thus making me get really bored. Cases like this, and 2 books: "Tigers of the Snow" and "Settlers of the Marsh" made me realize there was more in Canada than uninteresting Canucks. Only years later, once back in the States did I hear about Charles Pickton. Great channel!!

I found this one difficult to follow. I don't see the serial aspect - it's all about Jackie English. Maybe it's not communicated effectively. Ms Brown seems to jump around all over the place. It was 50 odd years ago. How is the killer still going to be alive? Talk about a stretch. Love the channel though. 👍

In the beginning it was interesting, but it became really tedious reading when this Harrison woman was attacked in her car. Also the story jumps around a bit, and I am used to reading another author I like(deceased now). I wanted to quit reading it, but curious like I am, stuck to the end.

A mixed sample is the victim and the murderer.
