Ontario Fishing Trip 2022 - Northern Walleye Lodge

After 2 years of waiting for Covid restrictions to be lifted so I can get into Canada, it was finally here. Was good to get away and relax.

I fished Dog Lake 7 times. Northern wilderness lodge, Pioneer lodge (gone) and Island view lodge. It's my favourite lake.

Cool video. You have a flair for making it seem like we were in the boat with you. Got me hankerin' for some fresh walleye, bro. Thanks for your presentation.

@@BucketListOutdoors I know a lot of hot spots in that lake. Talk to Charlie at Northern wilderness lodge. He'll let you know some hot spots.

What cabin did you get? What lodge? What location in the cabin on the lake? I might have been there. Good fishing.

I've fished Dog lake many times including the camp you stayed at. It's harder fishing but with time you learn the lake, we always had plenty to eat and most took limits home. The fly in trips i do now are much better for fish numbers and remoteness.

Heck if you drive alittle farther north to Red Lake past Ear Falls. My wife and I go there. We stay at Sun Set Lodge, But there are quite a few Lodges on the lake. And the fishing is realy good and not pro fisherman

Sorry you didn’t have a better trip. Slow fishing but it’s always great to be in Canada. Will you return to this resort?

It was a relaxing trip and a beautiful location. Yes I would have liked to catch more fish, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I don't take too many fishing trips, but if I went again, I would try something different

This guy doesn't know how to fish Dog Lake. My girlfriend and I would catch 20 to 30 pike, walleye and whitefish every day. We let them all go except for a few for dinner. He should hire a fishing guild until he learns the lake.
