@@henerum Audi is not just a VW with an Audi badge. If you had been with Audi R&D you would know that. Nowadays even Skoda people woult probably disagree to a certain extent. Of course, it used to be different some years ago (with Skoda - not with Audi). The Audi 50 was built before VW started to offer the Polo based on this model.

My first impressions of Polo is overrated for a hatchback, now it’s a decade old model, when I started to search for my new car in the market, my first test drive was a 2021 Polo TSI, just to see why this car is still running in the market and people in auto industry respect it, I was just blown away by the performance of the mighty little 1.0 litre 3 cylinder engine and solid built quality both inside + outside, finally the no nonsense approach towards the design and features in the car. No second thoughts and home one!

Volkswagen is really a fabulous brand .

everything is just awesome you guys just need to expand your service network and improve aftersale service.... People are willing to pay premium for volkswagen just they cant compromise on aftersale service.... Its very importants that what made hyundai most successful carmaker in india

The facelift begs for rear discs + Electric Parking Brake (Auto-hold). At least for the GT variants. It's hell in Mumbai traffic without it. The only thing that didn't allow me to purchase a IN2.0 car yet. :(

Car companies also have a incestuous relationship with each other. Check under the hood some day and tell that Ford pickup doesn't have a Mazada engine there, because it is. GM has worked with both Suzuki and Isuzu on several projects. We all know of Chrysler and Mitsubishi with Daimler. At some point they all worked with each other. But while back the 80's Chrysler had the Dodge Omni.... it was actually a VW Rabbit with different veneer on it. But for the most part VW has only worked within it's own circle of Audi and Porsche. Athough they now own Bugatti and Ferrari. Only VW could cheat and their fans and owners forgive them. I bought my 2017 Golf after the dieselgate scandal. Because all car companies cheat at something. VW just does it better.

VW and all German cars are very sensitive about maintenance schedule. Don't miss your maintenance. Don't go for aftermarket parts. The car will run forever. I don't deny that the DSG has some issue but they are in minority.

@@harmandeep8012 Yeah totally, just a slip from one of the fellas at VW and it merely involved 11 million cars worldwide, no big deal. And it was for the better since now they are aiming for fully electric cars, pretty neat. Takes VW to make a great comeback from a horrible event, just look at how they got started in WW2. Good ol' Volkswagen lol

Now those are the things one should look into before buying a car and not some fancy gimmicky features.
