they should have an addition where you can type in a fraction and it sets the amount of power you send to that fraction, would make it 1000x easier to get an exact amount without hitting the cap because the power increases too fast

thats not that bad. i only use like 45% of power. on normal singleplayer but on hard i had to change the dactics alot.

red buttton for alliances will give your team mates resources and red ship (i think will give resources 2)

really you can attack more than one at a time just make sure you arent using too much of your power where other people will go after you. and ppl will if uou have a decent amount less than them
