Hi. That is a nice jacket. I am 6'3" and 220 lbs. I hope next year you will get a 46. I guess in a way it is a blessing. I can have time to save up. Congrats on working out that distro situation. --Michael

Man that is rough timing. I just got the P628H from Schott! I’ll have to wait for next year! Plus I will echo the other comment I saw here. A 34 or 36 size offering would be cool next time please! Great videos and content!

@@DudsByDel will do!
You should do a video on how to clean and condition a jacket. I just bought a used 626 and love it but think it may need some care. It’s 10 years old. Leather is still shiny but texture wise i think it could use some conditioning.
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
I did a simple conditioning jacket on one that was already kinda fine but just a little dry. Would be fun to do one on a more dirty/needy jacket

@@DudsByDel yeah like the full process. When to use not to use saddle soap as well as product recommendation. I have some redwing leather cream but I’m not sure if it would be okey to use on my jacket.
Are you getting 38's? What's the pit to pit and sleeve length?
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
Hey man, I don’t have any 38’s in the order that aren’t already taken. It’s possible I could add one if you’re willing to pre-order and Rainbow Country allows it. There’s a size chart in the product listing, but fyi I find it gives larger numbers than I get. I’m trying to find out from someone I trust how their 38 measures. For example, they seem to give sleeve measurement around the curve rather than straight down
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
From a friend who has a 38: Found it! 21” p2p 18” shoulders 23.75” sleeves 24.5” back length 26” front length
What is the pit to pit size of your size 40 jacket?
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
I get right about 22” zipped up laid flat from edge to edge under the armpit
I have a 46 inch chest and just submitted my order for a size 46 Aero Sheene jacket. How would you compare Aero sizing to Rainbow country
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
Well Aero sizing is famously all over the place, so it’s hard to compare. The Sheene / Cafe Racer model from them has historically had a pretty generous chest, though they were working on a “new version” with slimmer chest and less aggressive taper. If your chest measures 46 inches around the broadest part while wearing a t shirt, a 46 in the Hercules would give you something close to the fit you see on me.
Hi big brother can u suggest the length of leather jacket for a 5.9” guy!
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
Hey man, it depends somewhat on your torso length. But I’m also 5’9” and a range from around 23.75” - 24.75” works well for a trim jacket on me. Other lengths can make sense depending on the style too of course!
@NavDeepDhim4n

@@DudsByDel i know your 618’s size brother 😊 and i measured the length between my shoulder to torso where i want my jacket to end and it came out exactly 22 inches bcz i wear levis 517 which sat a little bit high on my waist bcz of that i need a short jacket i am planning to buy schott 618 but i am unable to find its correct length so pls if u can takeout a couple of minutes for me to measure the length of your jacket i would be thankful to you bro and it will be very helpful for me bcz i will also buy it in size 40
You didn't zip the jacket, so I couldn't see how it fits closed, and that's very important, sorry for my English.

You can see it zipped in my original review starting at 5:30 kzread.info/dash/bejne/g36f2Kdpot3Nkqw.htmlsi=Zzzpu2--sV7yzmxk I’ve also posted a lot of other videos featuring it, pretty sure several shorts show it zipped
Are you going to get 34 or 36 sizes?
@DudsByDel
Ай бұрын
Hey Pelv! My order has been submitted for this years production. I kept to middle sizes due to my limitations. I can definitely do a 34 or 36 next year when I order with them. It’s possible I could add to my order for this year but I’d need your pre-order to be placed before I take it up with Rainbow Country. If they say no for this year I’d refund you.
