@Tripp14 this what I've noticed when I communicate with some of my customers when working. They see a different color then I do. They say red i see a dark shade of orange lol I know its red but its to light of a red for me to think its actually red it had too much yellow in it. But the colors used here were definitely the colors he said they are from my point of view. So from what I'm aware of is that my color vision is sharper then others as I can see different shades very well. However I have very poor sight in general so I sadly can't enjoy with the colors very much as I can't see details of trees or leaves.

You know, I think it’s funny. I am black-and-white colour blind, so the shades of the words are easily visible, even though my colour vision is arguably the worst. It is extremely rare, however, those who have achromatopsia only see the world in shades of grey, black and white. (I had to google that because I had no idea there was any such thing as black-and-white color blindness.

We can see the different in those colours, because the reds and greens used are very different, being highly saturated. However, I cannot see something like red berries in a tree with green leaves. To us, reds and greens (while opposite on the colour spectrum) look very similar. For example, the photos you see here: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4160356/This-world-looks-like-colourblind.html, at least for me, all look the exact same, except for tritanopia and full colourblindness, as they are the "blue/yellow" and monochrome forms of colourblindness. Try it for yourself, it is a much more realistic test than this. This video is not legitimate, and is just an attempt to make some money off that ad revenue. (Also I spell "color" as "colour" because I am from Australia, which is part of the logical side of the world, that uses UK English and the metric system) :P

jamie rushe these are all colors compared to themselves. Anyone can see a color against a lighter or darker shade of the SAME color. Color blindness makes people less able to see color, but they can still see light and dark. What they might not be able to see is a shade of green on red, or blue on yellow.

This entire video is bunk. I am colourblind, I am a mild/moderate protan, tested by Enchroma, a better way of finding out and of course doctors, yet I could make out 9/10 words. It shows a very small side of colourblindness, and his usage of words make him sound like all colourblind can't see any colours, which is only one of the 4 cases, which was another mistake; there are 4 types, if you count the complete colourblindness, but normally you speak of 3. Don't use this video as a colourblindness test, it's bullshit

i've got a dual monitor setup where one monitor has better color reproduction than the other. one couldn't really show the difference in the oranges as well as the other. i could tell there was something there but couldn't tell what it was. it was readable on the other monitor. so even if you don't see the orange it may be your monitor not your eyes.

2:19 a big zoom in makes me visible to see the very difficult color without stress

Note that the contrast on your monitor and color calibration affects this test as well. On a somewhat terrible monitor, it is harder to dinstinguish certain colours, while on other monitors (or your phone) it is easier. Contrast is the difference in brightness of colours and most monitors also do not reproduce the colors accurately. They will be shifted, which can affect the test. It's best to take the actual test.

I have a red-green colorblind deficiency and I could read all the words on the pictures. I have failed multiple color blind tests including the tests from eye doctors with the colored circles that have numbers in them and even failed the test for aviation lantern colors. Not sure if this test you have is 100% accurate.

The "hard" colors were easy for me and the "easy" ones, although I could read them, were hard for me.... This stuff's completely subjective...

To me was orange and red was the second hardest. But I could see them all. For other people it could also depend on the monitor they are using.

The first was a warm up super easy for everyone to see and get an ideas. Then the test started... Each one is going to be easier or harder based upon what colors you see better for sunburn last one was easy but the others it was hard

My dad was monochrome visioned. He only saw things in shades of black and white. In fact as a youth he preferred we watch black and white tv's as color was hard for him to see. Anytime a stoplight was horizontal was also frightening, as he would not be able to tell. Vacations in the RV were hit or miss until I got my learners permit.

Like all of these where so easy i didnt even have to focus at all

Not only have I taken colorblindness tests but given them as part of physicals. And what I always found interesting is that not only can I see the 'correct' number right away, but if I look for a second or so I can see the other one that your suppose to see if you have a problem with them. Not sure why.

That love one was the hardest but I was able to see it by moving a little

Its easier if you shrink the video. looks like the resolution was messed up in the video you can see some stray jagged bars along the top that are pixely and in the letter themselves. Maybe the editor is a little colourblind and couldn't notice?

I’m color blind and it’s actually very hard to go through school with out distinguishing the colors yet I could almost see all of them just not the tests with the dots

Me too I have failed the numbers on every interview and sentenced to menial jobs all my life.

I can see all words in the squares but seeing the word "eat" is much easier for me than the word "boot"

I just looked at the screen for 1 second and found the word for ALL of them

Wouldn't being an artist give you an advantage? You are exposed to so many different shades of the same colour so you kind of grow on it.

It really does! If you learn the order of the rainbow and see the color wheel properly then you can assure yourself you're not colorblind! The orange one had no different shades. I did see part of the L outlined in grey. Though.

I am a traditional artist but still struggle with certain shades... I don't think that you "grow on it" if I understand you correctly. You either can see colours or you don't, it's mostly genetics and you don't really have any influence on that. And as an artist you just either avoid using the ones you have trouble with, or learn where they do fit based on input from others. At least that's what I do.

The bright orange is so overwhelming all I can see are very slight variations in 🔆 brightness.
