Best game mode in Halo history. It's "Halo", the mode.

Imagine if invasion was a casual 8v8 playlist and you weren't forced to play a dead ranked mode (It's been virtually fucking impossible for me to find an invasion match for the past 2 years even at weekly peaks)

Invasion matches are so damn good, its the only lobby that you can literally utilise the falcon and communicate your team mates on the side gunners, its so so fun

I miss invasion so much. Literally played it nonstop for 7 years straight. Endless fun

From my experience people don't even play btb that much, anything that isn't 4v4 has been almost abandoned

I hope mcc comes to nintendo and playststion so the playbase increases. Its so hard to find matches now.

Invasion was the best by far. A bit unbalanced at times, but just so fun!

I didn't play much reach because I got into halo around the days of halo 4 as we were a year or two away from entering halo 5 and Xbox one. But I always loved invasion. While it isn't lore, it is amazing seeing player Spartans and player elites fighting and dying for the cause and the fun, pulling of the most questionable of tactics and amazing wins or losses, either that or unbalanced matches. But I loved it.

Imagine having a halo game as good as reach nowadays

Forever the greatest gamemode in Halo, ever. Hoping for a new updated version in a future game one day. Battlefront galactic conquest size maybe 👀

Man, I miss and love Invasion.......I recently got back into MCC a month ago after not touching the game for around half a year to a year, and maybe it's just bad luck, but I've never had any luck finding any Invasion games unless it's the CGB. Maybe it's me, but it seems like the CGB kinda killed Invasion games. Don't get me wrong, the community is amazing on CGB, but man, I just wanna play regular Overgrowth on Forge World.

Yeah you are not alone. I have been playing since launch on PC and it's honestly been dead long before the customs browser released. Very sad but that won't stop me from lurking in the customs lobbys. Halo's just wants me to give up I SHANT

Yeah, these are super old. The only way i play them now is through the customs browser. Pretty hard to play the OG maps tho

@@Ssol-leks for sure, in certain moments it’s unfair but generally there is a sweet spot with aim assist and mnk. But specifically for mcc I think with the limited players we kinda gotta take what we can get. So you’re kinda right i guess lol
