Mate I work at a place up here in The Kimberley WA and was getting swooped by a family of magpies in a tree across from where I work as I'm out walking every so often for work. After 2 weeks of putting up with this I stood underneath their tree and said to the magpie family that I was here first and that I'm not going away and that this is how it is so they had better deal with it. Was of course said with a few choice words which helped to emphasize my point and since that day I kid you not I haven't been swooped since. That conversation was at least a year ago now.

Huntsman spider and her little ones - completely harmless. Mum finds a quiet spot and guards her egg sac until they hatch and a little while after. Sometimes they come inside the house, it's not a bother and they help keep down pest insects.

There were two Pommy chicks in a car park at Hepburn Springs a couple of years ago shitting themselves over a Huntsman spider on the inside of their car. I rock up with my thong, let it crawl onto it and let it go away from the car. They looked at me like I was the croc hunter, LOL

Had a sack of huntsman hatch in my kitchen and run across the ceiling, it was ok until they ‘parachuted’ down using little tiny webs. Lucky the kids had bob the builder hard hats for protection to get from the kitchen to the back door - it seemed like there were thousands of them 🤣
