Only in America: Saturday Night Live skit had a ‘bit of insight’
Sky News host James Morrow has reacted to a Saturday Night Live skit which had a “bit of insight” on the pro-Palestine protests at university campuses.
“You know things have reached a head when you lose Saturday Night Live - once funny, now often preachy but sometimes yes, with a bit of insight,” Mr Morrow said.
“Let’s go to a panel discussion the comedy show staged between liberal parents happy for their kids to protest Israel and one parent who knows what’s what.”

Even when SNL ``gets it right", they still manage to get it so wrong. Not one word about the violence, no mocking the support of terrorism, no jokes about the rabid antisemitism, no social commentary on the massive outside influence from non-students. Just a few jokes at a black father trying to get his money's worth out of the school.

Hmmm...SNL about as funny as a fart trapped in a paper bag. I miss the old SNL from the '70s and '90s.
I can’t respect snl. They haven’t been funny in decades, they lean to a certain audience now, it’s obvious.
SNL is liberal funny. That is, not very funny

That’s the opposite of funny
Alphonse is straight up.....
SNL has been cringe for 25 years. That skit wasn't funny either.
Goodthing I don't watch SNL. I don't want to get a headache.
Yes to the freedom to mock your government, unlike in many countries

Probably why Russia, China, Cuba and North Korea don’t have comedians 😂
Even when they're making a sort of vaguely slightly correct point - it's still. just. not. funny.
Shocked that jewish Hollywood wouldn’t have a more sympathetic take on the Palestinian protestors
