Challenge idea: Chess. You can only plant damaging plants on the Light Green grass squares, while the defensive plants have to be on the darker squares. (Sunflowers included) This has nothing to do with chess. Mode: Survival Day (Hard).

4:44 I know it's pedantic, but doesn't planting the coffee bean on a shroom break the 2 plants per column rule? Or is that covered under the "I'm not counting all plants required to make a plant as separate" rule? Regardless, nice video! @@strangerontheinternet7358 Correct, but the Cattail *replaces* the plant it is planted on, where as the coffee bean spends several seconds simultaneously existing on the same spot as the plant it is put on. thus, For several seconds, there are 3 plants in that column if there is already another plant in that section. Not really a big deal though. If it's only permanent plants, then that's fine. Just slightly confused because I don't think that was ever called out as an exception to the rule in the video.

Challenge: You can only have 'upgrade' plants. Example: twin sunflower, corn cob, etc etc. You must have enough sun for the full plant before spending it, reducing the impact of the non upgraded plant. Hard mode.

This new way you are doing is working pretty well

I decided to think of challenges hard but not dumb, and then I was like. *Use only pea plants* (This means things like Pea shooter, Three-peater, Ice pea, Repeater, Gatling Pea, and everything else that shoots peas). This should be done on Hard on backyard. Also, your only allowed 6 sunflowers (The average amount a pea pod would make), and no twin sunflowers.

Thank you very much. I changed this slightly and it gets me thousands of coins around every half hour. I don’t have imitator and i only have 8 slots but it still works. Good day.

The cattail projectiles turning around after the balloon zombie invincibility frames is so satisfying

Challenge idea: beat a survival level you can only plant 2 kinds of plants per row horizontally, for example in the top row you can only plant sunflowers + garlic but in the row under that you cannot plant those two plants in that lane instead you have to use wallnuts and spike weeds. Note: this rule doesn’t apply to plants that are instant use or are required to play like plant pots

I think upgrading plants shouldn't be banned since the original plant is just completely replaced, however coffee beans are a bit of a weird situation to me. They don't replace the plant entirely, they just make the plant usable, but you do have to plant the coffee bean and there is a visual of the coffee bean on the plant when you put it on a plant.

Challenge: beat survival day only planting plants in flower pots.

I like how this challenge became instas at the end, you saved up enough sun by not using most of your available defenses, so you had less to lose so you could afford the instas. Smart strategy.

i mean the way you did the upgrade plants is supported by the game and makes the most sense.

Challenge Idea: Beat Plants Vs Zombies (First Adventure) with only the first 2 rows being available to plant in.

Here's my idea: Survival Pool with only Cattail as offense and the challenge is to hold the zombies off with defensive plants. Wall-Nuts, Tall-Nuts, etc are good. You can also use the Ice Shroom and similar plants. Instas are allowed if things get too rough. You can plant up to six Cattail, but you can break this rule.

It makes me cry when the garlic onion is at the 3rd phase :(

Challange idea: do 3 challanges at the same time

Challenge idea: plant only on the light green tiles in Survival Day. You can choose Hard if you want to.

Challenge Idea: You can only use 1 plant. You can shovel and upgrade the plant but only 1 plant at a time (Do whatever lvl or survival u like)

Chalenge: Do survival (normal) but the sun production plant is switched. Daytime is Sun-shroom. Nightime is Sunflower

Idea: no same type plants in a column ( no 2 pult plants per copy, no 2 we plants per column, etc)

Challenge: Beat survival roof/survival roof hard with 2 columns of ladders

Things that bug me logic-wise: Hypno-Shrooms don't work in the day without a Coffee Bean, despite being an edible plant. Garlics aren't affected by Wallnut First Aid. Spikeweeds/Spikerocks destroys cones and buckets instead of their feet.

Challenge idea: survival roof but you can only use mushrooms (you could also do this where you only get pea plants)

Idea: Both Zombotany levels but only sunflowers and the plants that are the zombies heads are allowed

Challenge: Do all of the puzzels with 2 seed slots

Challenge idea: survival pool (hard if you want) but you can only use plants that cost an odd number of sun. For example, you can't use sunflower, because it costs 50 sun, but you can use sun shroom and coffee bean, as they cost 25 and 75 sun.
