I would watch anything that you produced! I am curious: Is there a prize for that Soba challenge? The way the waitress keeps feeding you is so amusing!

Thank you so much for making this wonderful video showing us these hidden gems in Tohoku! I prefer the less well-known areas of Japan because they feel more authentic and unique than the mass-consumption-focused Tokyo. That's not to say that Tokyo is bad, more that it's only a very narrow aspect of what Japan has to offer. So thank you again for showing us the places off the beaten path in Japan!

This video inspires me even more to learn Japanese. My favorite moments in the video were the charming people you met along the trip, and when I visit, I also want to do as you did and chat with locals! Thank you for this 😗
I would like to be part of that 1% that visits that area when I travel to Japan =) Very nice people and nice views. Also, congrats on your 81 dish record Angela lol

Thanks for a great video about Iwate and Tohoku! North Japan is so beautiful and everyone should come here!!
It looked so beautiful there with the snow! I have to keep adding places to visit when I finally plan my trip to Japan every time you upload a new video!
Another wonderful and amazing video, Angela. Thank you so much for showing off the beaten path destinations in Japan, I will make sure I will visit these areas of Japan.
Thanks Angela for yet again a super good video, but no surprise there! As always super duper good! Love this trip!!! I can’t wait for the next one!
This video has been out for awhile but I'm just getting around to watching it. Thanks for featuring this awesome place, I lived here for nearly three years and feel like I've been waiting forever to see you make this video. My heart is so full.
Thanks Angela for continuing to make these videos. I went to Japan late last year and I found your videos to be a great source of advice. Now every time I watch one it makes me realise there's so much in Japan that I haven't done and I miss it so much!
The grannies at Abolone Festival vere soooooo nice and full of spirit! You hear them talk about how thankful they are for the country's citizen that helped them after 2011.. it makes your heart grow just by listening to them.. so much appreciation to other people... this is Japan's spirit! Angela, thank you for another great video!
Yay!! Always love seeing a new video notification from you!

Such great scenery in this video, thanks for sharing Angela!
I can’t decribe how much I love your videos. I am a medicine student in 5th year, and I decided to go to Japan when I finish my studies for a month. I am surely taking notes of everything you are showing to me. Thank you, really. Japan looks beautiful in every angle!
I'm planning on traveling this region in the fall! Thank you so much for this video and app recommendations!
Loved the video! Thank you!

6:18 Aww the way he waves at you so enthusiastically is soooo sweet!
You are doing a great job showing these off the beaten paths of Japan. It's very interesting to see places like this.
Great video, as usual!
Thank you very much for promoting Tohoku! I'm from Sendai and I appreciate your video, as people in Tohoku are usually a bit shy not great at promoting ourselves 💦
What a beautiful video! Great music too! Thank you for sharing Japan with us!
My wife and I were in Japan for 3 weeks last year. We spent 10 days in Kyoto, 2 days in Tokyo and the rest in Niigata and Sado island. Rural Japan is so beautiful! We were there in the fall and it was amazing to watch people harvesting rice by hand, fishing in small sail boats with nets and picking amazing fruit from incredibly manicured orchards. It was like traveling back in time to the Meiji era.
I love your videos so much, so informative, authentic and just relaxing. I can feel the peaceful energy of Japan through the screen and music.
great video, wonderfully presented
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Watching your videos always brings home the wonderful realisation that Japanese people are perhaps the warmest, friendliest and so full of grace and charm. Keep up the amazing work Angela. We love you.
Thanks for another great video :)
Amazing! I always love your "off the beaten path" take on vlogging in Japan! Can't wait to see the Discovery special featuring your experience!
What a lovely video. I remember passing through that exact gate in Morioka - I was switching from JR to the private line to go further north and couldn't figure out where I needed to go. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. There's such beautiful scenery up that way.
I've always wanted to visit Tohoku area, thanks for sharing this!! Very informative as always
So nice!!! Thank you!!!
I swear your videos! Huhu soooo good!
*Angela always beautiful and showing us the amazing little places in Japan. Cannot stop looking at your eyes.*
That’s really good video, very good info. Thanks
Very informative video! Thank you for the hard work!
Tohoku region should be visited by so many more! I was there just one year after the earthquake and tsunami and visited also a few of the towns worst affected by it, and I was struck by how friendly and welcoming the locals were despite all the hardships they were in and I want to go back. Best and most memorable trip I made during my three years studying in Japan.
your videos are amazing!
Thank you for your videos! Always informative and gives me great ideas for my future trips to Japan! I did find it amusing that the bus was called Den Den Mushi as that is also what transponder snails are called in the manga One Piece. 🙂
I love Tohoku! Happy to be back there soon. Thanks for the vid! 👍
:) So glad to finally see this video!!!!
Love your Tohoku video, great job.

Yet another awesome video, thank you Angela. Though born and raised in Japan my first 7 years I have never had the opportunity nor the budget to return there. Now I do, and my cousin in Sendai has been inviting me to visit for years. I just may do it this year! Your video only encourages me more to do so. Thanks again!
