Just sharing some of my Frustrations with Online testing with Pearson Vue. Lol
I'm glad I've taken quite a few exams with them so now I know what to expect

Bro I hate Pearsonvue because on multiple times they told me to stop silent reading the problem its distracting to test takers. I was like... I'm remote and so are they! These guys are just assholes behind computer screens.

In my experience I've found the 10pm-5am group of proctor online to be dicks about the room and such but test taking wise are saints

Yes you can't mumble or even move your lips during the exam but this was a old rule know you can read silently. If the proctor is not able to hear you, you read or move your lips. If any proctor told you other wise you can file a complaint on Pearson vue they take complaints very seriously 2 strikes in a month and they are out of the system.

The proctor online people are actually dumb asf and have no common sense they kept telling me to use my built in computer mic and and built in speaker well turns out they never used a desktop before because most desktop don’t come with built in mic and speaker 😂
As a person employee i can say those extra monitors should be turned off😂😂

@@drachenlordrwlnah u can basically cheat and out stitckers on ur screen if they cant see it. unless they have IR readers seeing how much ur screen should be putting out in IR… LOL JK thats CIA stuff

Thankfully, my proctor was pretty easy. She asked that i remove my scarf. I told her no, scarfs are allowed and it says in your policy. For online testing hats, and all head gear is permitted as long as the proctor can see your face!
Hahaha this is accurate. I actually worked as a Proctor in Pearson, now you don't have to remove your water bottle.👍

@@rajgabbynatt5915 yes you can keep any thing you like (water, tea, coffee) a little secret you can even have alcohol in your cup but I will not recommend it.

so true. I am a small woman who is not very strong, and my laptop weighs some weight. I had to lift it up and position it just right in 3 different positions to take the pics, then the bich lady made me hold my laptop out at arms length while rotating it slowly 3 TIMES, until my strength gave out...I could hardly hear what she was saying because she was whispering with her mouth far away from the mic...she then had a problem with my chapstick, and demanded I remove it outside of arms reach, because - moisturized lips will unfairly transfer vocabulary into my brain?? After doing my best to comply with some power tripping child ordering me about, she revoked my test AND KEPT THE FEE when my arms gave out! And this was for a section of the GED, arguably the easiest test in the English language. You have to cheat just to be able to fail....they grossly overestimate the challenge of their monkey tests!

@@kevinmartins8832 I thought you was joking. Normally they ask you to show you desk. If you have cable plugged into your monitor they will ask you to remove them. This has happened to me several times already.

@@UncleTreCSE you can have extra screen on your desk but it should be either covered with a cloth or disconnect and just show the disconnected wire to the proctor or the screen should be turned around the other side. You can even use extra screen if the screen is connected to your laptop but your laptop flap should be closed.👍
