Please make a video on what post graduate surgeons from other countries, who have cleared mrcs , have to do to enter into a specialty training bypassing the core surgical training. And please provide the forms from the releveant websites and explain the entire process like you did in this video. This will be of a great help sir and ma'am.

1-I do not have a visa. Nor have i immigrated to UK. So, i should click on- i do not have immigration status right? 2- Also, I do not have full GMC registration as I have not cleared PLAB 1. But wish to give MSRA exam to know where i stand and know the process of application once, so that i do not make a mistake when i apply it next time. So, in the column where they ask us to clarify that why do we think we would get a GMC registration till the starting date of that post- what should i mention? Because i know that i will not get the registration and that i just want to apply for the sake of appearing in the exam. Can i mention that as my clarification? Will my form be accepted then? If not that, then what should i write in the section?

Thank you so much for this video ! It cleared so many Qs for me. I just have a Qs, I have done oral presentation in international conferences, some of my abstracts were published in peer-reviewed journals (they choose top 500 abstracts and they publish it online) such as EJOG & BJOG. These abstracts have DOI references and however no Pubmed reference. So my first Qs: Can I consider it as a publication rather than presentation? Or would that give me negative points. 2nd Qs: in the part they ask us to mention Pubmed reference, can I write DOI reference instead ? Thank you and appreciate your time and efforts.

So I was thinking of running through the CREST with my current consultant for a period of 3 months and then after PLAB2, take a temporary job and complete all other requirements needed for a strong training application

Would you know if this means medical work as a doctor or would other healthcare roles apply? I worked in a psych home for example but not as a doctor. Would this perhaps go under gap?

Hi I’m Vanessa. I am from Colombia in South America. With Brexit, I was wondering if UK people still want immigrants to go there. Are we still welcomed in the UK to get our residency or do they not want us? I want to move and work there but also I think it would be hard going by myself to a country that might reject me for being immigrant (I’m talking about a social situation, xenophobia and stuffs)

Hello Vanessa! Brexit is more on those who were benefitting by have EU/EEA nationality. Currently, the UK has placed doctors on a shortage list, so they are actively recruiting doctors, even taking away any restrictions related to visa and training recruitment. With regards to xenophobia, please see: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYedzbqYoca6irw.html
