    Great video. Have 650 miles or so on the pint and LOVE it. Tried a friends xr and it felt big and clunky but loved the extra power and speed on the pavement. Preferred my pint on the grass. Felt more stable and controlled for me. Would also like to wait for a more refined XR but for now bought the pint hyper charger which cuts charge time in half. I’m about 155 lbs. 62 years young. This thing has changed my life. I fly around my streets and blow people’s minds. ONEWHEEL!!!

    Awesome video Kyle! For starters I picked up my mail yesterday and got my footpad, thank you so much I can’t wait to try it out!! This video was cool because I’ve never ridden an XR but love my pint. I love the carvyness of the Pint and I rarely ride in a straight line 😜 I love everything about the Pint except for the dismal range. I’m lucky to get 7 miles. So I definitely have an eye out for whatever comes next. I need more range but I definitely don’t want to lose the nimbleness of the Pint. I’ll probably install one of those RnR auxiliary battery kits from Sonny Wheels at some point in the near future and who knows maybe that will make it perfect for me. I am really curious about how the XR rides though. Anyway, thanks again for the killer footpad that was really cool of you, and thanks for this comparison video I really enjoyed it. I look forward to more content and to watching your channel grow. 👊😃

    @1wheelmedia687

    4 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the Sub! I average 13-16 miles of range on the XR. What PSI are you running? The general rule of thumb is 10% of body weight. Try bumping it up to 20-21 psi and see if that helps. If not your battery cells may need to be balanced. Try the PSI first and see how it goes.

    Wow the range on the XR is legit. I'm 6ft 215 and got 5-7 miles on the pint. I'm getting 16-19 miles on the XR. I can now get a days worth of riding in without charging. You get much more stability especially on trails and uneven roads. I can still carve just not as tight. Pros: Range, speed, stability Cons: weight, price I'm a fan of the pint and never knew how great it would be before purchasing one. My advice to anyone thinking about getting one is to get the pint if you don't plan on riding outside of a 3 to 4 mile radius. Get an XR for the full OneWheel experience and don't want to worry about range.

    That is a very confusing statement about over charge. What exactly are you talking about. I would think that charging to 100% every time would be a good thing.

  • @1wheelmedia687

    @1wheelmedia687

    4 жыл бұрын

    Over charge happens on a onewheel and can cause a nosedive. The board shuts it self off from charging at 100%. It does this to protect the battery. So for me, I used to live on top of a big hill. So if my board was at 100% and I was going downhill and using the brakes it actually throws juice back in the board (because of the regenerative braking feature). An easy way to avoid this happening is to turn around and ride uphill for a while to drain the battery. Does this help?
