he's the most beautiful and precious human ever. as an extrovert person, i really hate how introvert people are being constantly pushed into re-making this loud personality, just because the awful media made it the hegemonic and "ideal" standard. i really really love this type of personality and expression, it's so unfair how it is portrayed as the opposite of being social, because i know so many extrovert people who cares about everything except socializing/creating a comfortable space, and that's not being social, that's just invading the room. i hope we can progress as a society and appreciate this kind of personality, keep being honest and don't ever betray yourself, you will find good friends who can make you feel like home ❤

So true what you said about introverted personalities constantly being pushed into being more extrovert, as if it's the ideal. I see it so often in the work place environment. Nothing better a lot of extroverts like than someone the same as them.

Agreed. I never realized just how much I related to Onew either, since we are both introverts. But I can’t tell you the number of times I have had extroverts try to tell me that I should be more extroverted and social. I’ve even had teachers tell me that I would be happier if I just got out more and had more friends. They seem to completely disregard the fact that I am perfectly happy as I am, with my quiet little friend group. 😑 The struggles of being an introvert. Lol.

@@matchastarr That attitude from some extroverts is so disrespectful. Would they like it if people advised them to be quieter/less gregarious/stay at home more/have less friends/stop making themselves the centre of attention, or whatever, etc etc. You are obviously perfectly happy the way you are.

No but same! My social anxiety makes me more social to avoid awkward silences. But I’m an introvert at best, like I hate large crowds and loud people are so draining I almost need a nap. Introverted idols like him make me feel so seen! I love 💗

He’s just playing around and its a masterpiece haha!

I adore this guy. You can see he’s been through some stuff, but his sincerity and simplicity just touches you. I can’t believe he doesn’t realise how good looking he is. Charming, dreamy etc. When he starts singing you forget everything. I love his voice so much I got a link to his Musical rehearsal practice session, just to listen to those heavenly vocals. I always look forward to his content. MVP forever! 💙

You have many great songs, mind blowing live performances, and hilarious chaotic moments to discover, so enjoy the journey.

That DCM relay was just practically pure Jinki Bunny Energy for 4 minutes. He really does seem naturally shy and awkward, but he seems to have a "beast mode" - confident and commanding, that switches on when he's singing, performing or with his SHINee brothers. I do believe that Onew's strong but gentle leadership (which Minho has perfectly described as quiet charisma) is another factor that makes SHINee one of the most tightly-knit groups in the industry.

I wheezed throughout that relay. Especially when Jinki clowned Taem's piano solo, and took it very, very far. Jinki Bunny Energy perfectly described it. This man is in his thirties, and is still able to out-cute someone half his age. My MVP heart *melts* And yes, his quiet strength shouldn't be underestimated. Jinki may be gentle, but he is also capable. As Key puts it, their Onew hyung, who would never intentionally hurt others, was himself hurt, in protecting SHINee. We will never know the sacrifices Jinki made, in order to keep them safe and sound.

in the past you know in the variety shows they play that stupid face ranking games, he was always ranked the least attractive. this kind of things made him lose his confidence i think. that’s why i find those kind of games&things so unnecessary

He doesn't fit lots of the Korean beauty standards, in a group where, for example, Minho and Taem are known for their good looks according to the standards.

i literally started crying because of how validated i felt..i struggle really bad with social interections not only because i'm introverted, but i also have autism spectrum disorder and i often just don't know how to act so i mask and it's really hard to do and i'm always feeling down after it. but seeing him not trying to be the funniest or loudest person in the room make me feel like i can too and i can slow down on masking a little bit. thank you so much for this video! (sorry for my english i'm not native)

I just love Jinki's attitude. If he does not want to talk, he'll be silent but you still feel his presence.

I love seeing idols who aren’t that outgoing but try their hardest it makes me realize us people with social anxiety can do more then stay in the shadows.

He's always been an introvert but being in SM trained him to be an outgoing personality. I know they give trainees image training as well as dancing and singing. I'm sure he was a bit scared when they gave him the leadership position. There is something about him that makes him reliable and trustworthy. His members know that about him. Even outside of SHINee, he is recognized for his leadership skills when he was in the military. Now, he's leading the younger generation in individual investing. He may act clumsy and awkward on camera but away from it he's doing extraordinary things for himself. His members may follow his footsteps to be an investor too. Never underestimate the quiet ones.

Onew and Taemin in the same room always make me feel safe and comfortable. They're my emotional support human beings

He has actually always been an introvert..he just tried extra hard for variety shows to promote his group and stay active as a leader but I think that initial desire is now gone and he just now wants to enjoy his time singing and spending time with his members as much as he can. And maybe he got more awkward onscreen after his scandal and all. And I am more so ever happy for it coz he is not trying to look extra happy and fine, we all know he has his traumas to deal with.

Despite being an introvert, he's always been confident but lately I've seen him be insecure. I wish him all the best, we all deal with our own problems.

It must be very hard to deal with social anxiety when you are in their position. I noticed ONEW also lost weight. I just hope he is doing fine. They all deserve the best.

The more I grew up developing social anxiety, the more I started to relate with Onew

my love for him is so overwhelming like genuinely I hope he’s always happy
