Just finished my final class on Danger 5 about an hour ago. I got massive amounts of tips and help from your videos. Now I can uninstall the game, remove it from my library and finally set my soul free

@@KurtKatze4fk I did streamer and one-arm back to back on purpose because I wanted to get the hardest ones out of the way. Can't say it was smooth sailing after that, but comparatively easy at least.

my wife bought me this game for 3 dollars, greatest mistake she ever made... I now sit here consuming brotato content on KZread, thinking about brotato when I go to sleep and playing brotato at least an hour a day 😂😂 (luckily so is she). Love your videos man, very entertaining and informative.

With that low luck, the item quality offered in the shop is extraordinary .

Luck is SSSSOOOOO BROKEN in this game. With rumored future updates that better be the first thing they fix. And not a minor adjustment but a complete overhaul. Or removal like the old crit damage & crit % over haul

I am super impressed with this win since the Jack was super tough for me to get past with the revolver. Quite the win and a showcase in how powerful crit builds can be.

Bonus XP is pretty powerful when you get it before level 9, even just a single scar is usually enough to get most characters over level 25, which give a guaranteed level 4 upgrade. Also wish I'd realized how strong knife was before! Didn't see that it gives such a strong multiplier and base Crit, definitely would have tried it and when I was struggling with Jack, by far the toughest danger 5 for me.

I am struggling with Jack for several days. I don't know. I am struggling even to gather 6 weapons, not mentioning to fight elites. Two times actually I managed to develop decent dps, but it was glass cannon build, one shotted by the first elites. Last several times tried laser pistols, but still nothing to brag... Nevermind, I tried now one more time. 12 seconds to kill both elites on level 20. All thanks to Ceph and his guiding videos!

I've noticed that since finding your channel I'm playing the game less and just living vicariously through these video runs. Hmm yes that would've been my choice as well. Also have you ever played poe? Just hearing how you were talking about what you enjoy about builds makes me think you'd very much enjoy it. There's so many whacky things you can do with conversions and all sorts of silliness.

I'm so glad you're doing this series! It's a fun way to get some more variety and the fact that you can lose makes it so much more interesting. I remember like a year ago I asked retromation on every video to do a random character random weapon streak and he didn't seem interested.

I learned playing the hunter that having between 60 - 100 range with melee weapons can help prevent one shots from enemies that charge you

Is there a reason you don't use the rarity outlines for the weapons within waves? I find it really useful to easily tell where my stronger stuff is when building up my weapons.

Knife Jack is a new meta? I very rarely have a luck to win a run with revolvers or laser guns. Knifes look more stable.

A little of both! It's worse on Jack because of fewer consumables, but mostly it's just an expensive way to get 3 hp

I haven't checked, but have you done a video on the basics of the game? Like, why don't you pick stuff up and the difference between increasing a negative stat over a positive? Stuff like that.

Had a really weird run with Jack last time I played him. I got steamrolled by elites doing no damage to them while taking massive damage. It was like they weren’t flagged as elites/bosses.

Hey, do you have any insight on banner on melee characters in terms of how the + range and +as actually work out? Do i gain or loose as with that item on melee?

It will always be attack speed positive for melee - increased range affects attack speed by very small amounts (something like 1% attack speed per 100 range, depending on the weapon, but in that ballpark) so you can almost always ignore it when you're thinking about attack speed. That said, banner is a pretty inefficient item generally, so I'd still usually avoid it unless you really need the attack speed!

Ngl this run was very lucky. You had level 4 knives and 3 silver bullets. I’ve been playing all day and could never.

Just a curiosity, with Jack's already abysmal enemy count, could you go the other way and reach -100% enemies and have the most boring pacifist run ever? Or would that not prevent bosses from spawning?

I have question to the people in the comments. Did anyone actually tried to do Jack with knives on danger 5? And if so did you manage to win? And if you did how many tries it took?

Okay since nobody saying anything I say that since this video came out I have been trying it and I didn't win yet( I don't have every character unlock yet so maybe that is my mistake). I think it is safe to say I tried over 100 runs😅. I will write if I win with this one but for me at least this is ridiculously hard.

Jack has given me a lot of trouble, I always feel like I'm doing well until around wave 14.

You mentioned that trees benefit from the health multiplier. But little known fact, they also benefit from the damage multiplier too!

never had that good of a run on jack. Correction I hate jack he is one of my holdouts and of course trying to do it I ran into the alligator which I almost never survive in any of my runs. ARHGEW

It seems in all your vids in this series that the game is listening to you recording. Every time you say "we really want to focus X" before you enter a shop, it gives you two super good items that lower X. Almost like it's taunting you.

I have every character cleared on danger 5 except for Jack. I’ve gotten to wave 50 on danger 5 since they reworked the mechanics. I feel like I understand the game well. This character is absurd. I hate him so much. I’ve died with him on wave 20 and wanted to uninstall. He is awful.
